Tates Creek Coach

Featured Replies

Don't believe so. Heard Scott Hundley and Champ Ligon's name come up for that and that is about all I have heard.

I wouldnt be suprised if Keith Griesser from Montgomery was called!

Wayne Breeden from what school?
Owensboro. We were hearing his name connected with the Tates Creek job at the Sweet 16.

I thought Breeding did a very good job coaching in the Sweet 16. I thought his team played disciplined and defended well for the most part. IMO him, Griesser, Hundley, or Ligon would all be good coaches there. They have the talent coming up as well.

I've seen Coach Breeden in Lexington a couple of times in the last month. He would like to get back in that area of the state I think. He would be a great hire.

This is late but what happened to Tates Creeks coach from this year?

Coach Williams was not a FCPS employee and coaching demanded too much of his time. He really wanted to spend more time with his family.

Thanks Horizons!

Eric is a super guy. I wish him well.

Wayne Breeding very much wanted the Henry Clay job when it opened several years ago. He didn't get it, but took OHS to two Sweet Sixteen appearances during those two years. Henry Clay, with an abundance of talent, barely had a winning record during those two years.

Wayne Breeding would do a great job at a Lexington school, in my opinion.

Judging by how well I thought his team played in the Sweet 16 and how well-coached they seemed he would have been a good fit at Henry Clay and would be a good fit at Tates Creek now IMO.
