I am a man...man but I believe that every coach needs to adjust according to the game situation. I also feel as if too much zone will make your defenders lazy. A good zone looks like a man and a good man looks like a zone!

Some coaches go man or zone every game no matter the opponent. I would guess you don't agree with that?

This may have been done before, but to continue one of my recent arguments with a buddy......Which one are you more in favor of man or zone? Why?

It was kinda a joke......Lexington Catholic has no middle school they draw from all the private schools in their region as well as the public schools, this is the reason they are not allowed in the state tournament...they are not a school team!

Was Lexington Catholic Middle School's Principal there?

I believe they will have a parking area as well as a reserved seat in memorial...

Looks as if Griesser may be getting a lump sum in the basketball account if he can land in the finals vs Scott....that would be a huge crowd! Still not sure it would be as profitable as Mason's cookie sale that sent them to Hawaii though.....

I believe this was their origional goal, but the opted to push it back so it could be done correctly. Does anyone know if there is a list of every high school in Kentucky and what middle school (s) feed them? Would be benefical to planning!

I agree, kind of hard to play a state championship the first month of your season.......

I meant 15 after August 1st, my bad.....

Schools should mandate that if kids turn 15 before August 1st they are inelgible to deter kids that old from playing, most conferences already have these rules in place.

FYI I posted this in KYMSFA Thread as well...On a side note in December 09 the KABC is planning a Middle School Basketball Sweet 16 with regional tournaments and all, there will be regional hosts and a Sweet 16 at Frankfort Civic Center. This is as close to it gets as "real"....unfortunatley some schools/conferences (fayette) will not allow them to participate as they do not start basketball until Jan.......there will always be exceptions!

I think alot of officals forget that they are there as a service to the players and the coaches. They should, when app., offer explainations to players and coaches about their calls so proper adjustments can be made so the same violation doesn't occur again.

Good to see Georgetown compete on that level, you would think that one of these days a D1 will take a shot at Happy, he has taken Pitino to the wire 2 of the last 3 years........ On a side note, did anyone see the ref bump Happy over during a timeout?
