I'm not sure how this has occurred, in a similar case this year the Shotwell kid was ruled inelgible.....it seems as if the KHSAA has yet again contradicted themselves....I could imagine that parents could be getting fed up and KHSAA could possibly forsee a rather large lawsuit coming their way!

Some are going to soon find the grass isnt always greener on the other side!

The question I have is not the one you answered it is how is the "smoke" around the basketball program hypocritical?

Dont let high costs be a reason for transferring...the KHSAA doesnt want to hear it....similar situation with a boy from LCA transferring out and he was rulled inelgible at all levels. Guess this young lady can count on losing this year of elgibility!

If no rules are broken I dont understand the issue, I dont want to turn this into a public/private debate just want to see how SC is hypocritical. SC doesn't give waivers to certain players, SC only plays with students that LIVE in their district, SC doesnt give preference to certain students that want to enroll in their school, SC does not accept funds from outside agencies to help fund their students scholarships, and SC does not and never has recruited....what's so hypocritical?

Please explain more on how you think that SC is hypocritical on the public/private issue, are you saying that SC is giving scholarships to it's athletes? I dont understand your point?

Both incoming 9th graders will automatically be eligible but not sure if they are ready to contribute on the varsity level yet.....

Im still wondering how got elgible at lex cath ...according to recent rulings he should of had to sit out last year!

I understand Dakota has committed to Kentucky but...put yourself in the shoes of someone that hasnt got that D1 offer...like Hundley...go to a D1 school that would normally cost 160,000 for free after playing for the Cardinals....but who would want to have that opprotunity for their child any way? Thats selfish right?

So according to the KHSAA Shotwell would be elgible next year at LCA....but if he moved back couldnt the KHSAA rule him inelgible for moving for athletic reasons?? IMO the problem with KHSAA transfer policy is its not black and white but left up to opinion...in WVA if player lives in district they are elgible with no questions asked at start of year....whats going to happen is that parents are going to start transferring out of state to get their kids exposure......kinda like Rondo!

Sounds like they need to lace them up and earn their spot like varsity players all over the state do every November!

It would be nice to get a call back to at least say "when cant play you" when you call Bourbon Middle....but it never happens, I wonder if the new Coach will form a program or just get some good players in and then be gone in three years?

Looks as if Griesser's Title as the Best Dressed Coach in the 10th has offically been challanged. He may not even be the best dressed coach in his own district.....time to go to the mill outlet!

His buddy's last name is Leech, just so happens Leech's dad got a job coaching for Lex Cath Football team and he will be playing for the Knights next year. IMO he was sort of shopping his son around in order to obtain a coaching position. Nonetheless good luck to both Ivey and Leech, Franklin County will miss both of them!

I've been thinking more about this....your telling me that a Kentucky Mr. Basketball, 4 year letterman in the SEC, 6th Man of the Year in the SEC, Asst. Coach at Scott County (o yeah they one a state championship during that time), and Asst. Coach at Montgomery County.....is not good enough to be a head coach at Bourbon County? Please Explain....it may be a while before they will find someone who is qualified to be the head coach according to your standards!

So your suggesting that Hundley would only be acceptable as an assistant at Bourbon? Thats a crock, move to be Bourbon Asst. would definately be a step down for him right now.

What about Hundley at Montgomery? I thought he would have put his name in for Tates Creek, but it didnt happen....wouldnt be a bad move!

Dont count him out yet GoldenRule, I'd love to have him in an SC jersey next year, I think he could start...just like any other athlete that gets his tail in the gym and gets to work.

Or I guess Mason County's tournament would be equally sufficent the winner of their Invitational has won the state championship twice in the last 6 years!
