Coach Mckee and family are pretty well rooted in Scott County, I can't see him leaving, but I'd think Harrison would be stupid to not approach him with some type of offer....you never know!

At Scott County they just established an Athletic Hall of Fame, they have also named places after coaches.

I would say as is the case for most other Gtown Freshman he will be redshirted his first year.

Last year schedule did not work in favor I if your looking for a return to the City of Palms and then the Beachball......your probably going to be out of luck. I would also probably think that SC will not be preseason top 10 in nation....they will be unproven.....and even if all players play there is no guarantee they will mesh together. Best team I ever saw put together at Gtown College lost one game in Regular Season and then lost in Second Round of NAIA tourney.......

Schedule has not been released...it's going to be a dandy though!

If the kids share your attitude they dont deserve to play for Scott County anyway On the other hand you should know that since the talent pool is so great in Scott County it should just push you/your child to get better (which some kids are)....but there are some kids that share your philosophy and just think a varsity spot should be handed to them because they were birthed in Gtown! Never feel sorry for Scott County....talent has been and will always be here!

Last I heard, Portwood signed with Union, KY, Hundley is going to walk on at Bellermine (sp?) I think St. Francis, IN was also being considered, Royse is looking at an offer from Thomas More but could end up at Berea. Haven't heard anything futher.

Dont forget it stuck because he backed it up with a State Championship in '98 his Junior year and then led his team to a top five ranking in the nation and a State Runner Up finish in '99 his senior year. It "stuck" because he proved himself.

Interesting.....I'm not going to throw stones (lord knows we already have all the stones that have been thrown @ Scott County) but IMO Leach's dad was shopping his son around so he could obtain a football coaching position closer to home. Good luck to Leach at Catholic, he will be an outstanding athlete for all of their programs....I'm assuming he will play football now since his dad is coaching???

Does anyone even know who the canidates are? I believe they have closed interviews, so they must have a person of interest.
