They will be preseason tops in Kentucky based on the talent collection and the hype. They will be tough to beat, but nonetheless they will be beatable by some Kentucky opponants. I would wait to see how they do against a legit top 10 Kentucky team before I pronounce this newly formed team top 10 in the country.

In the 2006-07 season they were a top 25 team in some polls and really deserved to be in all of them with some of the teams they beat, especially Huntington.

I do not understand why? They will start (4) D-1 prospects next year. I think they should be able to play with anyone with that kind of talent. This could be the most talent on one team in the state since the 98-99 Cardinals. I do not think they won the state that season, but they had three players that year who played for D-1 schools.

Mason Co. finished 23rd in the nation this past season? Will the '08-'09 Scott Co. team be better than the '07-'08 Mason Co. team?

 

I think this is definitely a possibility.
