Scott Co. Top 10 team in the nation next season?

Featured Replies

Does anybody have their schedule for next year? That'll tell a lot!

Schedule has not been released...it's going to be a dandy though!

Top team in the State. Not in the top 25 in the Nation.

Depends on the final roster I'd guess? Hard to know who's going to decide "Georgetown's a great place to live and work next"?? :D:D

Guessing it will be pretty high profile, with several out-of-state tourneys/showcases?

I've heard GRC will be making the trip to Georgetown sometime in December.

Last year schedule did not work in favor :) I if your looking for a return to the City of Palms and then the Beachball......your probably going to be out of luck.

I would also probably think that SC will not be preseason top 10 in nation....they will be unproven.....and even if all players play there is no guarantee they will mesh together. Best team I ever saw put together at Gtown College lost one game in Regular Season and then lost in Second Round of NAIA tourney.......

Let me guess ... you're thinking Manual could get them.

Amongst others. They will be tough. Curious to see it play out. Who is your team again westsider?

Don't have a particular team ... I follow everybody.

In the State? Yes!

In the Country? Get Real!

If they have 4 Div. 1 players they will be ranked in the nation. The only team I know that has that many Div. 1 players at the same time is Oak Hill.

Several state teams have been ranked from Ky. over the years, and with a lot less talent. Just teams that come to mind right now are SC last year and the 99 team, a couple of Mason Co. squads, Catholic a few years ago with the "Big 3", Ballard back when Bender was there. I'm sure there have been more.

I think that they have a chance at landing a spot in the top 25

UHA with Barnes & Victor; Lex. Catholic with Graves & Fields; Male with Obannon I think;Paducah Tilghman Was ranked after beating UHA(Barnes & Victor) I believe. Kentucky has had quite a few teams ranked over the years.

Scott Co. should be very good next year (at least it looks that way on paper). Considering they are basically a KY All-Star team! I think Pre-season #1 in the state? Nationally? Really national rankings mean nothing at the high school level. Really no way to objectively compare teams. Pretty meaningless.

Scott may go undefeated, and again may loose in the first round of their district. Just look at the NCAAB and NFL. Both of those highly rated team not only lost a game. But neither won their championship. High School ball is so unpredictable. That's what makes it exciting.

I think KY High School talent is the best it has been overall in the last 20 years or so. Glad to see it. We are the basketball capital of the world!

Aren't Euton, Jackson and Guyn all sophomores?

If so, it is safe to say they will be ranked nationally at some point over the course of the next two seasons!
