Harrison County football coach Ray Graham announced to his players today that he will retire from public education and assume the position as Varsity Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Lexington Christian Academy. Coach Graham has been at HCHS for 25 years and will be sorely missed.

One of the best around. Big loss for Harrison and Big gain for Lex Christian! He and Coach Raines bring a lot of experience between them!

I think the folks in HC have been a little tough on Graham, he has been kicked around a little up there, there is not anyone who has done as much with the talent that Ray has had. They will find out how hard it is without him especially trying to hire this late in the game.

Coach Graham is truly one of the good guys in this profession. A man of great character, integrity, loyalty, and knows the game as well as anyone.

Coach Graham has been a blessing to so many. Congratulations coach on a great career, and best wishes as the DC at LCA.

For all his success, in 25 years, Ray Graham had a playoff record of 8-20. Geography played a major role in his playoff struggles as Harrison County almost always had to compete with the northern Kentucky district in Class AAA. A trip to the state semifinals last season was a great way to close a career.

Congrats to coach Graham on the retirement. I think he might get himself a Class A state title at LCA in a couple years.

With the program at Scott County and the facilities he has there, I wouldn't see why he would leave there to go to Harrison County.
