Or possibly him leaving NCC did not have anything to do with basketball. Maybe after a few days he and/or his guardian realized that he was not going to do well there in the classroom. Not knocking the kid, it's just some schools are harder than others. As far as CCH, maybe they realized this before the kid and guardian.

There was A LOT of things going on with the CCH team and staff around the Beechwood and Highlands game, I wouldn't say that the CCH faithful couldn't stand to lose to the Tigers, as well as a couple of other issues. But, CCH seems to have hired a coach who could make some strides there.

I won't use the words "gave up", but left in the 3rd? I was at Skyline watching the game on TV and the place was overflowing with CCH students at halftime.

This is basically a summer camp. But as he said, you must pay to re-enter, which isn't right. I'd never go to this event just for this reason. If I want to go and watch for a couple of hours and decide to go across the street to eat at AppleBees or TGIF and come back to watch more games, I shouldn't have to pay to re-enter, I don't care if it is just $2.00.

Even if a kid can attend a Catholic school for free, a kid could go to any public school for free as well, if the public school where the kid lives would release the state money. Some schools won't release that money, so that's an issue between the two public schools.

That is who I thought would pitch for BW yesterday. But, Purnell wasn't going to give up many hits to any team yesterday. Beechwood just didn't do so great the top of the first giving up 2 runs and 4 hits.
