On Friday Brossart beat the Highlands 2s 49-36, Lost to Simon Kenton 1s 49-34.

Mustang JVs lost to Summit Country Day 1s 56-39

In The TMC Camp Tournament on Saturday Brossart 1s defeated the CovCath 2s 52-32. We then avenged our JV loss from Friday night, with our 1s defeating Summit Country Day 1s 50-45, then were upset by Fort Knox 1s in the semi-finals 20-19 in an 18 minute event after leading 17-4 early, sending us to the consolation round where we again met Summit Country Day and lost 27-23 in another 18 minute event.

Summit Country Day went on to win the camp tournament championship over Fort Knox. Campbell County and Simon Kenton did not play in the camp tournament.

CovCath played their 1s on Friday, but had an engagement at the Cintas Center on Saturday.

Overall, good camp competition. Four games in 6 hours is pretty rough, especially with eight players. The officiating was terribly inconsistent with some very fine officials and some who should officiate golf.

Heard this on Friday while at NKU. Day camps are getting more difficult unless tied directly to an association.

Wasn't impressed with the TMC team camp at all. It was great for JV teams but the quality of teams was below par. Seen some very lopsided scores. Refs were less than impressive as well. Charging to re-enter in still bothering me. They said rules said admission was $2 a game, not a day.

$2 dollars is fairly cheap most games are at least $5.

This is basically a summer camp. But as he said, you must pay to re-enter, which isn't right. I'd never go to this event just for this reason. If I want to go and watch for a couple of hours and decide to go across the street to eat at AppleBees or TGIF and come back to watch more games, I shouldn't have to pay to re-enter, I don't care if it is just $2.00. ;)
