Hart returns basically everything, this will be the best and most deep team they have ever had. Even with a tougher schedule, I expect them to have a very good year. Should be a big year in Munfordville.

I think Stonebreaker would be a perfect fit here. His offense with the athletes Somerset has, would be fun to watch. Somerset seems to have some really good pieces coming back as well, so I just think this is a good match in general. This all is dependent on if Stoney even wants to leave Casey.

I don't think she said anything horrible. I'd go on a limb and say most, if not all of our wives would have said something similar. Its obvious the Haddix Family feels as if they were forced out by Corbin and the administration to make Greer head coach, so I guarantee they wanted to win that game more so than any of the others. I have no idea what really happened behind the scenes at Corbin, and won't pretend to, but I do know beating the team you left, and that you feel forced you out, had to be a pretty sweet feeling.

Give me Boyle County. Corbin is very good, but they aren’t as good defensively as Boyle, so I think the Rebels pull off the win. Boyle 35-21

I don’t think this game will be as close as some feel. I feel like Beechwood will dominate the line of scrimmage and keep the Mayfield offense in check. Beechwood is as good as Metcalfe up front and they stuffed the Mayfield running game, which I expect Beechwood to do the same. The difference is Beechwood is elite at the corner position and Mayfield won’t be able to take advantage of the quick screens and passing game like they did with Metcalfe and LCA. I don’t think Mayfield will have a ton of success on offense. With that said, Mayfield is very good on defense, as good as anyone I’ve seen, so I don’t think Beechwood will score a ton, but I could see a 21-7 or 28-14 type game with Beechwood winning. that's Just one man’s opinion. Good luck to both teams, they have been the best two teams all year, so this only seems right to see them meet here and battle it out.

For the love of all things that are good, run the football consistently. Haha PT was so good at times, and so bad at others, one of the most talented teams I watched, that left me scratching my head multiple weeks, and then looked like they could beat anyone a week later. Just a wild year for the Naders.

Beechwood just keeps on rolling straight into the semi-finals. I really hope to watch the game next week, to see how they go after LM this second go around.

I didn’t think Bardstown would put up this many points, but I did think they would score 35-40 after watching how much success Hart County had against Union last week. Bardstown just keeps answering the bell every single week. This has been a Crazy good coaching job by Coach Clark all year. He’s class 3A coach of the year in my book. Congrats to Union on a great season, and keep on winning Bardstown, I’m ready to see you win a state title again.

Mayfield is good, no question about it, but they can’t run the ball against a solid Metcalfe front. With that said, the QB has been great. He’s thrown some great balls and they have some great speed on the edge. Mayfield also has as good a defense as anyone I’ve seen in 2A though. They will be in every game with those kids. They will have to run the ball better to beat LCA, OCath, and Beechwood, those 3 teams are much better offensively than Metcalfe and will score some points. Can’t wait to watch those games.

This game has went about like I figured. Metcalfe has played very competitive and stuffed the run almost the entire game, but Mayfield has started to wear Metcalfe down and getting a few yards more rushing the ball. Metcalfe has played well, it can’t throw the ball nearly well enough to beat Mayfield.

Mayfield punched it in with 12 seconds left before half with no timeouts and the clock running. If he didn’t get in, they most likely wouldn’t have gotten the next play off. Super competitive first half.

Metcalfe has dominated Mayfield up front and Mayfield might have negative 20 yards or more rushing. They have had success throwing the football, but Metcalfe has dominated the front line.

I don't think Metcalfe County beats Mayfield, but I think they could keep it close for a half. Then get worn down the second half and Mayfield pulls away. Metcalfe has issues stopping the pass and screens on the edge, both of which Mayfield does very well. That is where I think Mayfield wins the game, but I don't think Mayfield will have a ton of success running the football, as Danville only rushed for around 150 yards against Metcalfe. Also, Metcalfe had two touchdowns called back against Danville, if they do that with Mayfield, they are in for a long night. You can't afford those penalties when playing a team like Mayfield.

This has been a very good game. Metcalfe has dominated up front, and should be leading 14-0. Missed a TD on fourth down by about half a foot that Blythe just didn’t get to.

Well they dominated the same Campbellsville team who beat Atherton, who beat Danville by 20. I also think KCD and Green County very well could have beat Danville too. Make no mistake about it, Metcalfe has played a weak schedule outside of KCD, Green County, and Campbellsville, but they are a very solid team. Metcalfe has issues with stopping the pass, but they are built to stop the run. This should be a very good game. I could see Danville scoring a bunch with Brown, but Expect Metcalfe to score plenty as well.

For me its the Campbellsville and Lou Holy Cross game. Can a young Campbellsville team beat a very solid Holy Cross team a second time? Will the young Eagle players get to play for a regional title game? Will Holy Cross come out and get the win to push into a regional final? Just a really fun game to try and figure out how it will play out.

This should be a very good game. If Danville attacks Metcalfe between the tackles they won’t get much, as Metcalfe is very good up front, but if Danville is able to get brown on the edge, they can do damage. Metcalfe struggles with elite speed. With that said, if you have issues stopping the power run, you don’t want to see Metcalfe County. They will pound the ball down your throat over and over until you stop it, and then throw in a quick screen or a go route to Blythe. Metcalfe is going to be a tough matchup for about everyone they play as they are that good up front and stop the run really well. I may just make my way to this game Friday night. Give me Metcalfe 28-21

I believe the only game he missed was the Beechwood game. He may have been injured late against Southwestern, unsure of that one. I do know he played the Corbin game.

Am I the only one who doesn’t expect this one to be that close? Simon Kenton were beat handily by Southwestern, Beechwood and lost to a solid Corbin team, none of which I think even come close to Trinity. Trinity isn’t great on offense, but Simon Kenton is even worse on defense, so Trinity will get points. Simon Kenton Is a solid offensive team, but Trinity is as good on defense as anyone I’ve seen in the state. I just don’t see this one being that close. Trinity wins by 2-3 touchdowns imo.

I really like the Bailey kid, he ran hard, nothing flashy, just I’m here to do my job and help my team win. They also really schemed his touches in the passing game well tonight. Those quick outs with him and number 14 out of the back field killed the Dragons all night. I believe they scored twice on those screen. Out of the games I watched, this was the best game they have played throwing the football. Passes were on the spot and some guys made great catches in traffic, and made some kids miss tackles and has speed in space.

Congrats to Hart County. Most wins in a season ever and I believe first home playoff win ever.
