Oh my. :eek: I'll give you the great person....I've always found him to be a gentleman, no question. I know his wife and father-in-law well and I think Tom is as nice a guy as there is. However, "great head coach" is something I never thought I'd see next to his name.

The great thing about being an objective fan is you can often see the truth without your team-colored blinders. Coach Brossart has some real limitations this year, it is what it is, and that is combined with the fact that I think in spite of Spritzky's coaching ( ) Dixie should have one of the better teams in a while. Ergo, two Blue Colonel losses. Disclaimer: I REALLY hope I'm wrong, at least on the 2nd game.

What am I missing? I like Bellevue by 14+ in this game yet there are a LOT of posters that are predicting a Ludlow victory. Am I missing something?

To your latter point, obviously. 6A is, was, and shall be, a three horse race for the foreseeable future.

I can't imagine a NKY 6A team winning a title any time soon (if ever), but I would stack them up this way right now: Boone Co. Ryle Campbell Co.

Absolutely right. I loved going to Warren Central games and watching this man among boys...he was a beast. Great, great, high school running back. Shawn Alexander is absolutely the winner. He was unreal in high school. I can tell you, since I saw him game 1 each season, that he was the best I've ever seen in high school. Another great high school running back that isn't near the top of the list, but deserves a bone in this conversation, is Eugene Luke. Oh my...he was freaking unbelievable in high school.

This young QB that everyone keeps referring to, is that Arkansas Brewer?

While I think this game is probably a toss-up, I'm giving the edge to NewCath. Hope I'm wrong, but as UKFan16 will tell you, I wasn't far wrong on Saturday afternoon. Hoping Isler (if he indeed is starting) can get some time and orchestrate a couple of solid scoring drives. You just can't ask the defense to be on the field all day and be able to hold up; just asking too much.
