The Rock is a lock. Not close.

Madison Southern has NEVER defeated Rockcastle County in football.....and I don't look for that to end.

To much power on the ground Rock big in this game.

The Rock by at least 21 in this one. Power running game will be too much for Madison Southern.

This may be one of the most dominant records in the state for a rivalrly like these two have, only 15 minutes away and these games are intense. Madison Southern has a very fast speedy team, they looked good against Central, I think if that same team shows up then this will be a dog fight. They must play better than they did against Breathitt to compete in this district. They have a lot of skill players that look very dangerous.

95 and 96 was the only years they even came close. Looks like they were really good exciting games too.

In 1995 Rock was down 27 to 14 with about 7 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter. A blocked punt for a TD sparked the comeback. It was also a blocked punt in the 1996 meeting that won the game.

Southerns defense is getting it together...much improved in week 2 of play from week 1 of play against Breathitt. They have some offensive weapons for sure and there offense will definitely come together. If Southerns offense and defense play Friday against Rockastle like they have the talent and the ability to do, then yes, Rockastle will be in for a fight. If the coaches had adjusted some of the play calling against Central, that would have been a different game as well.
