Greenwood/Warren East Updates

Featured Replies

Up until about 7:00 left in the first half, it was the Jordan Ellis-to-Jon Yates Show for Warren East. With 3:42 left in the first qtr, Ellis heaved a 73 yd scoring strike to Yates for the first score of the night. The PAT was good, and East led 7-0. With 0:31 left in the qtr, Yates struck again with a pass from Ellis, good from 25 yards out. The placement was no good, and East held a 13-0 lead.

Early in the second qtr, Yates collaborated with Ellis again, this time from 45 yards out. The run failed, but East had a commanding 19-0 lead. Then in steps Greenwood senior Corey Henon. He is officially listed as a QB, but will be seeing action at a bunch of positions. He returned the ensuing kickoff 87 yards for the Gators' first score of the night. The PAT failed, but Greenwood gets on the board with East leading 19-6. East fumbled deep in their own territory, and Henon takes it in on a QB sneak from one yard out. The PAT attempt failed again, but the Gators have cut the lead down to 19-12!

Whew!!:scared: :D
