It would take a monumental effort for CCH to win this game...monumental. I think CCH will struggle to move the ball consistently and I look for The Birds to break off a couple of 40+ yard plays to shorten the field dramatically. I have no idea where he is going, if anywhere. The only point is, which is germane to this thread, that this "could" be Tom's last game. Then again, they could live to fight another day.

Inopportune times? If you are referring to them playing CCH tonight than that is comical. What does "A" have to do with "B". Besides the fact that the conversation is aprospos if tonight is Dixie's last game of the year. People close to Tom are telling folks that this'll be his last year at Dixie. Simple as that. If I'm the only one that has heard this I'm very, very surprised. I'll just say that.

In 4A I think Marion Co. is going to have their work cut out for themselves to make it out of their District.

I think LCC should be on upset alert in their 2nd game against PCC or Clay Co. Woodford Co. doesn't have a walk in the park with Johnson Central in their district. That being said, I think Woodford comes out.

Congrats to Atherton on making their FIRST playoff appearance! Enjoy the experience on Friday and hopefully in the future you guys can pick up a win...I don't expect that to happen this week.

I knew beating CovCath would get them noticed. Seriously, congrats to St. Xavier, their players, and their fans. That is a great honor for a KY program. It is always nice when one of them climb to that level of notoriety. :thumb:

This should be one of the most entertaining games on Friday night (especially if the 67-58 [or thereabouts] regular season match-up is any indication). I not only expect Clay Co. to win this game but I like their chances to pull the upset over LCC in Round #2.

Ryle, not terribly close. Raiders by 11 - 15.

Bullitt East has a chance to make a run into the playoffs (I wouldn't be horribly surprised to see them beat Lone Oak and then Valley / Warren East to make it all the way to the Carpet), I look for them to win this game by 13 - 17 points.

Rockcastle wins comfortably.

Lincoln Co. is playing good football right now, maybe great, with only a 2 point loss to Scott County keeping them from being perfect in Sept. and Oct. That being said, I think this is by far the best 1 / 4 match-up in 5A this weekend. I like Lincoln Co. to win (and go deep in the playoffs), but this one will be close.
