This will definitly be another hard hitting football game! Both teams are going to play each other very tough. I think both defenses play great. I give Bell the edge in offense and special teams and will come out victorious.

In the regular season this game was a LOT closer than the score showed. Rockcastle has had a history of turning it on in the playoffs. In 2005 as you can see from the first post, Bell County beat Rockcastle AT Log Mountain in the regular season but lost 21-0 in the playoffs Us Rocket fans hope for a repeat.

This game will be like any other Bell and ROCK game it will be a slobberknocker, smashmouth football and you will see the best out of both teams in a rivarly match. I am not going to predict a score for this game because it may be to close to call. GO ROCKETS!!!!!

Guys I hate to break this to you but Rock was the better team in 05 and Bell should not have won the game but made some big plays to win. This is a totally different story. Bell is clearly the better team and will show it this Friday night. In week 4 Bell was still finding their legs and did not play very good the way I understand it. They are a totally different team now especially on offense.

 

No disrespect to the Rock program, but they are not on the same level this year. They have been the better older team for two years but that has changed now. In no way is this a discredit to Coach Larkey they just don't have the horses.

 

In the first game Bell had the ball 2 times inside the 10 and came up empty handed. Rock did not threaten in the second half and only got inside the 20 once and got their on 2 4th down conversions on that drive.

Two very impressive coaches. I often wonder what their careers would have been like at bigger schools??? I think they would have been just as successful or even more. Both are great coaches and good men that teach many more lessons than life. For my money I would not pick anyone over either one to coach my kids if I am lucky enough to have them someday. I just hope both choose to continue coaching for as long as possible.

I think Bell will win, but I hope Rock can pull it off.

Last year Bell was the young team, yet they only lost 18-14 at Rockcastle. An INT in the last two minutes in the red zone killed a long sustained potential game-winning drive for Bell. If Bell scores, then the playoff game, that Rock won 13-0 comes to Log Mountain instead of the Rock. Certainly could have changed their fate. In addition, Bell had numerous ints, etc. in the end zone in the 13-0 loss. Bottom line....Bell was outmanned, and against an older, more experience Rock team....yet were in each of the two games. This year, nearly the same Bell team faces a much younger, smaller Rock. Bell has matured. Bell's offense is much better than in early September. Bell is hitting on all cylinders. Should be a great game, but Bell is playing well and should come out with the win. Bell's defense is averaging just over 7 points allowed per game for the season. Defense wins championships. Especially when you have a potent offense and special teams play to go with it. Go Bobcats! One more step toward the season long goal of bringing the first 4-A title home to the Mountains!

I would have to go with Bell Co. in this one, as good as they are playing right now!!
