Not the same Rock team as in the past and definatly not the same Bell team's as in the past. This years Bell team's strengths is Rock weakness unlike years past. In the past 2 years Rock has unbelivable OL/DL play and Bell has been very very young. This year Rock is not very good up front due largely to age and inexperience. Bell has all their people back and are better than ever. :fire:

 

Also look for some new wrinkles Bell has been working on since Spring but have not used during the games.

I know we are not the same team as last year but we do have a strong defense and that you can not take away from us. We may be small and inexperience in some way's but as they say dynamite comes in small packages to and who knows we may have a few wrinkles of our own to:fight::fight::fight:.

So, back to the game discussion between Rockcastle County and Bell County....

Would love to see this one. I think Bell has too much for Rock this time around .

No crazy talk just reality. Rockcastle is a good team much better than there 6-5 record but they cannot score on Bell and will have a hard time slowing down the Bobcat offense. In no way am I trying to disrespect or downgrade Rockcastle. I have evaluated talent in College to High School levels of Football for quiet a few years and know what I am talking about.

 

If I understand right Bell only ran 5-6 different plays against Rock in the regular season, but have been working on 15-20 Rock plays since the Spring. Rock will not be able to adjust to things they have not seen before on both sides of the ball.

 

May the best team win and that is clearly Bell County in 07. This will continue to be IMO the biggest rivialry in the state for years to come but it is clear that Bell has the upperhand.

Unless Rock's offense has improved, I don't see this game being real close. Rock has a solid defense, but a bad offense. Good luck to both.

This is Bell's year. They are loaded. But Rock will not back down and this one will be a war. Bell's athletes will win out 20-6.

I think some people will be surprized of the out come of this game.. with Nelson out who will lead the CATS to victory? The Rockets have a chance to pull a upset if Nelson dont play...

From what I've heard Nelson has practiced all week and will play....I dont think the score would be much different with or without nelson.

Rockcastle has a strong, proud program. This has been a great rivalry in the past. However, the fact that Rock has a great program and these teams have been very competative in the past has no bearing on this game. Bell County has the superior team this year by far and it would take a monumental collapse for Rock to win on Log Mountain. It would be a big accomplishment for Rock to even keep it close into the 2nd half. Neither will happen--Bell in a route 35-7.
