Bell is overlooking no one this year! These boys and coaches have not looked past any one team all season long. This is truly a "blue collar team" who works hard all week for "pay day" on Friday.

Well said, Snap. Bobcats have been on a mission to take the state title since day one. They have approached the upcoming game each week and no other in preparation. Bell remembers how they took Rock too lightly two years ago and got embarrassed on Log Mountain. Don't look for Coach Hilton to let that happen again. Coach Hilton respects Coach Larkey, but look for the Bobcats to roll. They are too strong this year in all areas for Rockcastle. Bell did not play well in first game this year. They are hitting on all cylinders now. Last year this team played their hearts out against Rock in two tough games.....but Rock had the horses! This year Bell's horses should head for the winner's circle. The only way that doesn't happen is if they "throw a shoe!" and beat themselves.

Rockcastle will have to be able to throw the ball effectively to have a shot to pull the upset........but I just can't see it happening.

I hope that you are not comparing Rockcastle to McCreary County. Rockcastle vs Bell was a VERY close game for a LONG time. Bell is the better team, IMO but Bell won't walk all over them, if they win.

:thumb: Rockastle is going to play Bell tough. Since Coach Hilton has been back, even in the losses Bell has played Rock tough. But usually 1 team simply has better personnel than the other. If both teams play to their capability I believe Bell will come out victorious on Friday night.

Rained all day....actually started about 8:30 last night and has rained on and off all day today.

Being a true ROCK fan I think the ROCK team can pull this one off if they play with the caliber that I know they can. This ROCK team has been a struggling team that has overcome alot. I don't mean this in a bad way but maybe some of you all are counting your chickens before they hatch. This game could go either way and may the best team win but I have alot of faith in the ROCK team and I don't see them going down without a fight they want to win just as bad as Bell does. So with that said good luck to both teams.

Not the same Rock team as in the past and definatly not the same Bell team's as in the past. This years Bell team's strengths is Rock weakness unlike years past. In the past 2 years Rock has unbelivable OL/DL play and Bell has been very very young. This year Rock is not very good up front due largely to age and inexperience. Bell has all their people back and are better than ever. :fire:

 

Also look for some new wrinkles Bell has been working on since Spring but have not used during the games.
