I haven't seen Paintsville but having witnessed Raceland first hand and via film, the Rams are pretty good right now. Davidson is having a monster year at QB, Rams have a fantastic DL. I don't do predictions on here, but I think it will be an excellent game.

To be fair WUGO is not really WC people. Good guys but not from this end of the county. I don't know anyone at West that feels Russell or Coach Maynard has ever ran the score up on us. Had Coach McGlone wanted to there were years he likely could have scored 100 but he didn't.

We had 8 games last year in which we had running clocks. Only one time was the rule correctly followed and it was a game in which the clock probably should have ran the fastest. How about asking the losing team how the want it ran if they want it ran faster?

If we have a Thursday game would be the only time.

No matter how good the coach is in the box or on the field having video would always catch things they don't see live.

He's not a one man team, there is a lot of good talent on that squad. He's the top talent, but he's not the only guy. He is an athletic freak though. Very, very special athlete.

Ben is a great player and a better kid! Here's hoping he continues to show his fantastic ability this week. I know our community is extremely proud of him.

I'm still working on a shirt for you. We haven't taken up our orders yet, but I can probably still get one from our distributor. Make sure you either get there early or bring lawn chairs on Friday. We only have one set of bleachers and it's not very big. New bleachers but about 400 seats too few.

Looked good at KCU. Played with a lot of enthusiasm. Went and attacked the ball in the air. QB/QBs threw the ball well. Didn't have a Baker or O'Bryan but they looked to have pretty good skill.

Without question it's the 2000 Team for West Carter. State champs, numerous records, Miss Basketball runner-up and a future Miss Basketball also on the roster.

They have a pretty good offensive line. Two really strong linemen. Really came on strong at the end of last year.

Maybe up to 50% is covered on average. Really depends on how much the school costs and how bad the player is wanted.

How would giving up June not be giving something up? Football already have up June passing league for summer basketball, so how about basketball give something up for a change? Or better yet, why don't we let the kids play both if they want and not pressure them? Give a kid all the potential options and let them decide?

No need to slow down. You're suggesting that basketball gets off season practice and games and football loses June workouts and limits their spring to less contact. That's ridiculous and unfair.
