I doubt that Rowan's talent level is much better or worse than normal. The problem is the gut punch delivered by the parents and spineless administration. Time will heal the gut punch. Time will not heal a spineless administration problem. IMO

Rowan lost a lot of offensive production from last year.

Rowan was competitive early. But they got beat by the big plays and then once they got behind, the energy level dropped significantly for them. On the flip side, Mason County was definitely energized by the successes. Hopefully they can hold on to those positives and carry them on to the next game.

Glad to see the Royals get a win! Hopefully this will get them back on track! Go Royals!

Actually, it is a combination of both. Their talent level is down from recent years (and WAY down from the Cross and Wing days). But, the distractions from the off season are going to haunt them for a while.
