  1. Houston's front four is good. Shame Ward didn't have better blocking this year. He's a stud. Could have been in NY.
  2. Should be a great game. Hope both teams play their best and stay injury free. Best of luck to both.
  3. That's one game for OSU. Louisville has looked subpar in 3 games.
  4. I'll take Tebow and laugh all the way to the National Championship. No where near as talented, but he's the best college QB I've ever watched.
  5. Couldn't dream of making? Did we watch the same QB at Auburn? Newton and Jackson are both freaks to which Mike Vick is probably their only athletic equal at QB in the college game. For every play Jackson makes that Newton couldn't dream about, what about the plays Newton made that Jackson couldn't?
  6. 10x? Come on. Cam is much bigger, so his athleticism doesn't look as impressive in the open field. Lamar may be a better athlete but not by that much, if he's a better athlete at all. He is faster though. I'll take Cam because he was undefeated as a starter, won a championship, and the heisman. Better passer, equally dangerous running. He had a better supporting cast and played better competition so his stats aren't as out of this world as Lamar's. However, Newton was a beast. In the past 15 years or so, Lamar does compare favorably to Newton, Tebow (best college QB of the era IMO) and Mike Vick in terms of dual threat guys. He may pass all of them but not yet.
  7. Which of the other teams (outside of Clemson) have with subpar opponents?
  8. Forgot that OSU played at Happy Valley. With that there isn't a legitimate argument for Louisville to be ranked over Ohio State. Louisville had one impressive game against a good opponent. They've seen two good teams all year maybe a third on Thursday. They may be better than OSU but they shouldn't be ranked above them IMO. With the way Louisville has played in a few games they'd likely have 2 or more losses with OSUs schedule.
  9. They'll leave Penn State out. Harder to leave Wisconsin out. Good schedule. Only losses were close to teams in or nearly in the playoff. Wins over LSU, Nebraska and Penn State would help. That's three top 20 wins and a Conference championship in probably the deepest conference this year. Louisville would have one. Oklahoma will be interesting to watch. They play #11 and #14 and seem to be playing their best football. Don't think they get in though. To me Louisville is one of the four best teams. I think that Alabama and Ohio State are better. I think Michigan or Wisconsin may be better. I think Louisville is better than Clemson or Washington. But like I've said all week, Louisville had their shot and came up short. Alabama would be the only team that can gripe if it misses the playoff if they continue to take care of business.
  10. That is their best scenario. Right now then need to be rooting against Penn State and Washington. Realistically Ohio State is the only one loss team with an undeniably better resume than Louisville. If Ohio State wins the Big 10 they will have went 4-1 against the top 10 teams in America. Sure they lost at home while Louisville lost on the road, but the rest of the resume speaks for itself.
  11. Looks like if Washington, Clemson and either OSU/Michigan win out the Cards will be out of the playoffs. Washington winning out and beat top 10 Colorado will be enough to pass Louisville IMO. However, I really believe WSU will beat Washington and win the PAC 12.
  12. Why are the Bucks fans so anti-Peppers? He's a phenomenal player.
  13. I think Sparty will beat PSU so this is a moot point IMO.
  14. Also Vaxxed was directed by the same doctor that was caught making up the initial research, if my information is correct. There couldn't be a more biased or untrustworthy source than a guy that blatantly lied about the issue.
  15. Autism is more prevalent now because they actually diagnose it. Thomas Jefferson, Mozart, Da Vinci and many others probably were on the spectrum. Not judging you, but I don't buy that the government knows this and allows it. I find that hard to believe. Sure Measles, Mumps and Rubella are rare but they are getting more prevalent because people are opting out of those shots. I don't know how a vaccine could cause autism. Granted we don't know much about autism but the mmr causing it would virtually be unprecedented wouldn't it? Documentaries do an excellent job of selling what they want. Not always the best source, too much bias. JMO.
  16. A lot of injuries this past year at Boyd.
  17. I hate to be "that guy" but if OSU, Michigan, Clemson, UW or Louisville don't make it they can only be mad at themselves. If you lose and leave it up to a committee how mad can you really be? All five teams had their shot to secure their bids and blew it. Committee will arbitrarily choose three of the four best teams (because we can probably all agree Bama is in). Arguments to be made for all, but the only real answer is that OSU or Louisville or whoever should have taken care of business and taken it out of the committee's hands.
  18. Thursday night is tough but with a short week for both teams I don't know if Houston can scheme up stops against Lamar. I'll take Louisville by 7-10.
  19. Will be interesting. Arguments could be made either way.
