Walter's 9th Region Top 10 (Week 2)
I will like to see how Cooper is playing by the Lloyd tourney at the end of December.
-
NCC at Cooper (12/4)
It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see any football players on the court for Cooper.

Holmes 64 Cooper 59
Do you think that is new style of Cooper or just early season game under new coach?
-
NCC vs Dixie Updates
Sounds like a typical 9th Region game. Give the boys from Dixie time to adjust to the varsity level.

NCC vs Dixie Updates
Is this too strong NCC or too weak Dixie or just a throw away game?

Nate McGovney Cleared To Play
That is great to hear. He really put effort in working to get back. I wish him luck.

Simon Kenton 76 Boone County 58
Really hate to hear about Nick. I talked to him last Saturday and he was going Monday to Dr. He didn't get the news he was hoping for. With SK injuries it will give their bench some valuable experience. I hate for any kid to get hurt but especially his Senior year.

Cooper 61 Walton Verona 49
Correct name: Colin Hathorn. Very nice kid and should be solid contributor. Rebounds outside his area really nice.

Cooper/Bowling Green 5A State Championship (Predictions)
I have no first hand knowledge of BG. I have followed KY football to know the strong program they have. My hope is that Cooper shows up and gives them their best shot and we will accept the results. Go Jags, you have given us all something to enjoy this season.

Cooper/Bowling Green 5A State Championship (Predictions)
I agree with what has been written about respect from local media. I give that to the newness of Cooper. You will earn respect over time with success. This is a special group of players at Cooper led by a strong senior class. It may or may not lead to a win Saturday. I am hoping for a win. Go JAGS.

Cooper 17 Harlan County 7
Congrats to the boys and coaches at Cooper. Hard fought game. Well played by both teams. Harlan took the opening kickoff and marched straight down the field for a touchdown. I thought Cooper was in for a long night. Harlan would not score again.

Kelsey Sorrell Memorial Pre season Scrimmages
Great job on the pictures Panda. Thanks for sharing.

Huntington Prep scrimmage @ Scott County
I think Wiggins was pressing a bit. Cal, Kenny Payne, Orlando Antigua were there. Players committed to 4 D1 schools (Tenn, Baylor, Ark, Fl St) were on the court. Wiggins would fit at UK...he didn't shoot freethrows well. Kid was fast.

Cooper 40 Franklin County 27
Congrats to Cooper. Great turnout of students, fans, the band and cheerleaders. Very entertaining game. What a high school football game should be about. Sorry one set of kids have to feel the losing end. But that is why sports can be fun and awful at the same time.

One of the most underrated players in NKY
Great kid. Congrats on player of the week.

Shannon Turner resigns at Cooper High School
Coach Turner was a very polite and pleasant person. She wanted to be a friend to the girls instead of a coach. The team was more of a social club instead of a basketball team. There is no problem in that, but I think enough people didn't want that. So she moved on. Good luck to the Lady Jags. They have a very hard district to deal with.

The Great Eight remain.....
With Breathitt having to play at Belfry, I think Breathitt will fall.

Cooper @ Franklin County prediction
I hope we have a close and exciting game Friday night. I think as many have said Cooper's D must get enough stops to keep FCC around 35. Cooper needs several long offensive drives eating up the clock to have the best chance of winning IMO. I am particularly concerned about how our DB's will play against the wideouts. They gave up some big plays last Friday night against S Oldham. Good luck to the Jags.

Cooper 49 South Oldham 28
I agree totally with the fact about fans from both schools can take it too far. That's what make them fans. I will say it is also good that you have two teams in the same district and in close proximity being good enough to have this debate. Hopefully both schools can continue the rivalry on the field and not just rely on words from afar.

Cooper 49 South Oldham 28
Not to mention all three wins were on the road.

Cooper 2012/2013
With major contributors coming from the football team, the basketball team may hit some bumps early. But don't count them out. Coach Sullivan and his staff is pretty good at bringing a team along.

Cooper's Louis Maniacci commits to Lincoln Memorial University
I am very happy for Lou. Congrats to him and his family. The school is not that far away for his family to be able to see him play.
