Great win Jags!!!!!! So.Oldham came back and actually took a 1 point lead in the 2nd half, then the Jags woke up and put their foot on the gas and never looked back.

I guess this clearly answers who the best team in the district is.

Beat a #2 seed and then followed it up by beating #1 seed South Oldham for the 2nd time this year.

Big win for Cooper especially considering Conner's season ended tonight.

Yea, we were kinding of hoping for a re-match with Conner next week, but I don't mind traveling south.

 

I also wanted to say once again the South Oldham fans were great, very classy as several congratulated us after the game and nothing but good things to say.

 

Also once again wanted to give kudos to the Cooper fans. For the 2nd week in a row they outnumbered the home teams fans as we filled the entire vistitors stands again and had standing room only.

Im really looking forward to seeing Cooper. I have seen their scores but not in person. After what they did to Anderson County they have a lot of people's attention at FC. Should be a good game.

As you know, it's very seldom Conner will ever admit another team is better and you saw that all week long this week. The 2 best teams in this bracket in my opinion are now playing for the regional title. Good luck to you all, and congrats on a great season so far. We have a 12-0 team against a 11-1 team. Couldn't ask for a better game.

Nice win for Cooper. I think you are a little premature though Hellbird claiming Cooper to be the best team in the district. You have to beat Franklin County to have a clear claim to that IMO.

Remember, last year when Conner lost to Cooper yet went farther in the playoffs it was said by just aboout everyone that they were better because they went farther in the playoffs.

 

 

Cooper went farther this year and beat the team that beat Conner twice this year.

Actually I garuntee you that some from Conner no matter what will claim them to be the best team. They did the same thing last year after losing to Cooper. No matter what they can never admit they aren't as good as Cooper so no matter what happenss, even if Cooper pulls off the miracle and wins state, they will still claim they are better.

 

That is a given. They tend to go by their own set of criteria.
