Cooper 49 South Oldham 28

Hellbird, I'm not sure why you have a stiff one for Conner. 90% of your posts talk about them.

Conner beat Cooper this year and got the 2-seed. Cooper made it further into the playoffs. Two good teams. Conner owns the W. Enjoy YOUR team's success and quit sounding like UKfan. It's unbecoming.

Congrats to Coach Borchers and his Cooper Jags.

2 great teams this year no doubt and Congrats to the Cougars for a great run and great games this year. Not taking anything away from Conner this year.

I have always thought the Jags were a better team than the Cougars because of their defense. I guess we will find out next week..

As an outsider looking in, fans from both these teams have "a stiff one" for each other and I have seen posts both ways that make me cringe. But it's a rivalry so I guess that goes with the turf.

I guess this clearly answers who the best team in the district is.

Beat a #2 seed and then followed it up by beating #1 seed South Oldham for the 2nd time this year.

Not to mention all three wins were on the road.

I agree totally with the fact about fans from both schools can take it too far. That's what make them fans. I will say it is also good that you have two teams in the same district and in close proximity being good enough to have this debate. Hopefully both schools can continue the rivalry on the field and not just rely on words from afar.

This may be the last really good season for Cooper for a couple years, I will enjoy it while it lasts. I haven't said anything that isn't true this year, just a proud fan who follows a program that has only been around 5 years.

Congrats to the Jags on a big win. AJ played a great game and ran tough all night. 200 + yards rushing. Defense looked good with Centers getting 3 or 4 key sacks. It was an all around great game for the Jags.

Congrats to the Jags on the dub. I said at the beginning of the year I felt they were the best team in nky not named Highlands or Covcath.

Hopefully the Jags can keep this run going all the way to Bowling Green.

South Oldham sure made it interesting this year. Picked to finish 3rd, and ended up as the State recognized District Champs?
