  1. Sure. it's common knowledge that officials intentionally make the wrong call ALL the time. It's always the official that decides the outcome of ALL close games. Unbelievable.
  2. If Russell dominates time of possession they can win a tight one but they have to stop the big plays of PCC.
  3. Conner showed they can battle by beating Cooper. Didn't Boone beat HC? Cougars by 7.
  4. Could not agree more. That guy was pathetic. He was soooo biased.
  5. Awesome game! Definitely one that will be talked about for many years to come. Congratulations Tigers on a big victory. Gutsy call going for 2 in the second OT. Wow!
  6. Congrats to the Cougars. Big win for sure. Tough loss for the Cooper kids. Sounds like an exciting game to have witnessed.
  7. From what I can recall from earlier this season, the NCC QB is good passer and even better runner. Kelly will certainly add to the arsenal but with or without him NCC will be tough for Beechwood to defeat with the NCC size advantage up front. Hopefully this will be a great game for both teams. Should be a fun one to watch.
  8. That must have been neat to watch. Definitely something those 9 young men will never forget, even at their 50 year reunion. Nice job Coach Rash!
  9. HHS by 21. The Birds just have too much for Ryle.
  10. Did I say teams should give the ball to everyone on their roster? No. Your response is rambling and senseless and has zero relevance to my original post. You should also look at your own username and consider changing it to statboy. Laughable. Stat that too.
  11. You really need to read my post again. Maybe try it not under the influence of whatever. What stats did I quote? What facts are you talking about? I asked questions. Questions about ALL programs. Back at ya on the disrespect. You must be a team statistician. Laughable.
  12. I didn't mean to strike a nerve SM. If you look at my post again, you should see that I was mostly asking some valid questions about all HS programs in general and not just Beechwood. I know one NKY team lost a close on last night because their feature RB went down and had he stayed in they would have most likely won big. Like it or not, it's a valid point. I am glad Beechwood did exactly what I suggested most of the game......must have been some good coaching. Again, look at my post, I did not accuse Beechwood of padding stats. I realize Beechwood is a class program. It was just a general question about all programs. Just remember the questions I asked come playoffs and see how many teams get eliminated because they lose their feature RB, or because they are predictable and/or one dimensional.
  13. Really? They are focusing on this year? That answers the question I asked. Thank you for clearing that up for me.
  14. I understand what you are saying. Why do teams, not just Beechwood, put all their eggs in one basket? Why don't teams prepare for the "what if"? If that RB goes down, what kind of impact does that have on the psyche of the team (coaches & players)? If it does happen, how long does it take for the team to recover? "What if" that happens in a playoff game and the team does not recover? If you look at most high school teams it's the same way. Is it just padding stats for one RB? What is the benefit to the team? How does it prepare them for the playoffs? Does it make it easier for the opponents in the playoffs to prepare to stop that one feature back or would it be more difficult to prepare to stop 3 or 4 backs? Maybe it's just not showing anymore than you have to show to the future opponents but it seems to quench the spirit and the passion of the backs that aren't the feature RB. It's nice to have a talented feature RB but you have to have balance, in the air and on the ground, and you have to those hard nosed backs that can move the chains in this game of inches.
  15. Impressive effort by CCH! HHS will make the necessary fixes and bring home another championship. Does CCH return alot for next year?
  16. Beechwood by 35. Same for Bellevue next week, maybe more.
  17. I think LSU had 12 men on the field and UT had 13. This one will be analyzed for days to come! Wow!!!!
  18. Joker obviously likes Hartline. I agree with you.
  19. No offense BS. I did think about it. I did hear it was close but 3-3 CovCath still won. How did BW have the game and let it slip away on their home field? What happened or what did not happen to let it slip away? What has to be done to prevent it from happening against NCC? I did watch NCC (now 6-1) beat CovCath (now 3-3) and whether it's a BW loss of 3 or 30, IMO it will still be a BW loss. Hopefully BW, being the underdog, can pull off the upset against NCC but I just don't believe it will happen after playing 5 consecutive very soft opponents before NCC.
  20. Not that the Beechwood defense really needed to help the cause but with the versatility of Bradley (#51?) he just may be an option for Beechwood as a fullback too. Not only was he starting on the D line but he was also the Beechwood kicker and has quite a leg on him! He is a versatile athlete to say the least. In fact, I think he even worked the concession stand at half time.
