What team do you think will win and why?

Should be an easy win for Highlands after resting 16 players against Scott.

Should be a great game. Since meeting in week one (second week of the season), neither team has lost a game and both are champs of their respective districts. Ryle looks to knock off the king of the hill in NKY while HHS looks to continue its win streak and end the regular season on a strong note.

I thought I had this game figured out about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Today, I have no clue what to expect and I am not sure if anyone else does either. Ryle is a very tough team to figure. They almost seem to play to the level of their opponent. As to Highlands, the result of the Cov Cath game really threw me for a loop. Maybe I should just chalk that up to the rivalry and forget about it, which would lead me to believe Highlands wins the Ryle rematch by 2-3 TD's. But I just don't know. :idunno:

This should be a very competitive game.

 

Both teams likely held back a few things in the first meeting so I'd expect to see some new wrinkles from both teams. Ryle absolutely HAS to pass if they want to win this game. They can't give the ball to Elliott 20+ times and win this game IMO. They must be balanced.

 

On the other side, I think Highlands needs to run, run, run to win this game. They must control the clock and line of scrimmage. If Birds can avoid the mental mistakes and penalties, I think they win this one comfortably.

 

Birds have the better coaching staff, so I have to go with the team from Ft. Thomas. Dale and co. will make adjustments from the first game and take this one by 2 scores.

This will be very hyped up game especially being a televised game and no team handles these types of games better than Dale. Been there done that in his 16 yrs as head coach of the Birds. Not feeling it right now but come Tuesday, the smell will be in the air and I can assure those doubting the Birds that they will be ready. Ryle, just so you know, get ready for a dog and pony show with the Fox Sports crew, pretty cool how it all comes about. Go Birds 20n10

This will be a game worth attending for those who want to see a great high school football team matching two very hard-working teams. The game will be played with great intensity by both teams in a playoff atmosphere. Ryle will mix it up on offense, unlike in game 1. I look for the Raiders to pull the upset as the top two teams in NKY collide.

Ryle has played in a FSN Ohio game each of the past three seasons. This is not their first rodeo. However, they are winless...in two road games. Third times a charm! :thumb:

Game will not be "easy" by any means. Ryle has one of the toughest RBs in N.Ky (no disrespect for HHS' Compton) and HHS will have to get back to the gang tackling that has made them so successful. The paper said 11 starters were out for the Scott game.

 

The first game was close through 2 quarters with HHS pitching a shutout in the 2nd half. I think this game will be similar.
