Congrats to Panthers and the Birds for geat night of High School football.My birds did not win but now I can feel pretty good about saying they are number two in the Commonwealth after this showing.......

The Colonels are tasting it and liking it. IMO,Colonels big in this one.Starters don't see second half.........

Hope the Birds can get emotionally up after last week ? IMO, This has to be one of Ryles biggest games in their history especially considering the statement with a win that they were the only team to hand the birds 2 defeats in their last 53 games . I like the Birds by a score without PT.3-4 TDS with....

Great atmosphere for High School Football .This game will be decided by the biggest line in the GCL if not Ohio come third and fourth quarters.

Looks like the Birds are getting primed for the BIGGEST GAME IN THE HISTORY!

They were the only two games the ones were on the field the whole game where true weaknesses were exposed with skilled athletes.Elder would not waste their time on any others considering their Freshman squad would beat them all.Lets face it,different level football here and after personally watching the now number 5 in the nation Moeller play them,Elder is not as bad as that score indicated . Don't know alot about the T game but I would say for sure that the Birds rank as the moral booster on their brutal schedule.

IMO,A way to keep Highlands starters on the field is a run only offense.Three positive things will happen:1.Highlands may have to punt ( A check up on different players executions in especially critical game situations).2.Get the starting offensive and defensive line personel some needed endurance in place. Thirdly,The Elder scouts will have to rely solely on the Boyle and CovCath tapes as constructive tools for their defensive strategies against Patrick and Company.28-6 for four quarters of starters or 52-6 if they maintain current strategies which will be the ones for the first half in 1 hour match up.

At the end of the day the kids are the ones who will be hurt the worse.In there minds they have to be thinking who will be at the helm next year and thereafter. Dixie does not lack athletes,facilities,enrollment and fan support .IMO,The program is lacking buy in and the Head Coach and staff have failed that aspect.Just watching discipline level issues on the prior BGP posts is telling me something about the current leadership .Current and future players and parents have their challenges ahead of them.

I wonder if this call would have been made if Dixies point after attempt would have been sucessful against Highlands Freshman the other night and ended up a win for the Colonels ? When was the call made?Thursday at 8 a.m.?
