Who wins and why?

Been along time since the Colonels have prevailed in this matchup. Not going to happen this year.

I predict that I have to work until 6:30 and I will have to stand in the end zone to watch the game....

Anyone willing to save me a seat?????

I believe Cov-Cath has the talent, but until it happens on the field the Birds have to be the favorites in this one.

If ever there was a chance to steal this victory out from under the beaks of the Birds, this is it. I'm taking Highlands, but I think CovCath's talent, combined with the Highlands unfortunate habit of turning the ball over could make for a much closer game than in years past.

I am going to cheer for CovCath just because they need to beat HHS to get this "rivalry " game exciting. Kind of boring watching the Birds smack them around all the time.

If CovCath tackles better than last game, they have a real shot. They missed at least 15 combined tackles on important 3rd downs. Harris and McCoy run right through arm tackles. Also, CC needs to stick to the running game. Bir is a gamer and very good,but CC had good success running right at the 2 man Birds Dline. However, they would follow two big runs with a double move route. That said, HHS does not lose this game at home. McCoy has a better throwing night and 4 different players rush four five TDs and add a passing score. 41-28

Today November 10 we as a community are going to be honoring a man who was, Covington Catholic. A man who was a student, a teacher and a coach and who taught many of us how to pray, play and live as men of God.

 

I am asking those of the Covington Catholic community today, to instead of posting in this thread, to instead say a prayer, perhaps a rosary to honor Mr. Tieman.

 

The game and all of it's hoopla can wait until tomorrow! Today if you can, attend the Memorial Mass to honor our fellow Alumni, Teacher and Coach and if you can't please say a Rosary or a prayer in his honor.

I agree, if Cov Cath is able to tackle, their chances are good. With that being said, that's a big if. I think Highlands will likely win.
