tcjkbt Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 The frosh usually play on the Thursday preceding the varsity game, and I assume it is no different this year. I think T is the home team in the varsity contest, so the frosh game would be played at X. Does anyone have any info on this game?
rockmom Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 All I know is the final score was X 24, Trinity 21.
rockmom Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Was this a basketball game? Sorry, no. I saw this and didn't pay attention to where it was posted. I moved it.
xfan09 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Congrats to the St X freshmen team. Can't believe we haven't heard anything from all the T supporters on here! St X definitely controlled the tempo of this game! Trinity even brought down their freshman player that plays varsity. Great job Tigers. Now on to tomorrow night. Bring home the win. So proud to be part of the St X family. :dancingpa
SuperShamrocks Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Trinity even brought down their freshman player that plays varsity. They brought a freshman down to play in the freshman game? Isn't he a freshman? Congrats to the Tigers for the win, see you tomorrow for the big one!

Oxnard Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 The pendulum is now swinging the other way obviously. I don't think it started swinging the other way, but it definitely shuddered and paused for a TIGER MOMENT.
Tiggers1 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Great game. St. X owned the game. Big Plays were decisive for both sides. St. X owned the line of scrimmage and moved the ball at will. Gave up interception on first play of game, giving trinity the ball in red zone. Defense holds. Brooks was bottled up on everything, but two big plays. And he looked like the second coming of Tony Driver...game changer on any given play. Gonna be a star in track and already has an 18 year old frame. St. X turned it over in red zone again at start of second half after gashing Rocks defense to begin second half, already up 21-7. Might have been a route. But Brooks answered for 70 yard scamper. St. X drives length of field and kicks a 38 yard field goal with 5 minutes left. Would have been good from 48. Impressive for freshman specialty game. St. X picks off 3rd and 5 play at mid field and drives down to red zone until victory formation to end it. Classy on both sides. Not many crucial penalties. Great atmosphere for a freshman game. It was fun game to watch, no matter who won. Rocks never quit. Future looks good for Tigers. And Brooks will be a stud. He'll get offers from the big schools for sure. As a Tiger fan, I'm glad Trinity brought Brooks down. We wanted their best product on the field. And he's as advertised.
Xtiger69 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Awesome job freshman Tigers the future indeed looks good with the frosh and JV's. Go Tigers beat the weeds.
SHAMROCK69 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Maybe some of X's best freshmen team ever should move up to varsity for Friday nights game.
Park1221 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Maybe some of X's best freshmen team ever should move up to varsity for Friday nights game. Wow...who crowned them "X's best freshmen team ever"? Let us enjoy the Frosh victory, tonight might get ugly.
