  1. Larry - I like your attitude!! Guess people have forgotten that in 2008, T beat us when we were #2 in the country! Anything can happen! The X boys and their fans BELIEVE!
  2. Larry we would welcome you with open arms on the St X home side and you can certainly wear your Male clothing. As long as you dont mind hearing us cheer for our team as well. . Our seating is limited on the visitors side due to the fact that when we were building it, we were informed that according to some code, we had to have a certain amount of parking spaces for the # of seats in our stadium! Therefore, we were forced to move our stadium over to accommodate these parking spaces. We were never intending on our visitors side to not be higher. Good luck to Male tonight, but then again, not too much. Haha
  3. I would take Mattingly any day over Wright. He is great on his feet and can run the ball when need be. If you ask me, he was definitely the much better QB on the field tonight.
  4. Congrats to the St X freshmen team. Can't believe we haven't heard anything from all the T supporters on here! St X definitely controlled the tempo of this game! Trinity even brought down their freshman player that plays varsity. Great job Tigers. Now on to tomorrow night. Bring home the win. So proud to be part of the St X family. :dancingpa
  5. St X was never up by 2 TD's and yes, we won without our starting QB. Central always plays X hard. It was a great game and Central should keep their heads up! They are a very good team this year with a lot of speed.
  6. I'm so proud of our boys last night. Yes, they came out slow, but they never gave up. The team, along with our crowd was more fired up than I have ever seen. Not making excuses of any kind, but not having Ryan Oliver in there tonight and along with a few calls that definitely did not go our way - two late hits and then saying we fumbled on the 1 when his knee was down - this game could have gone the other way. Again, I'm not making excuses, just some officiating that definitely went their way. Moeller has some very big boys and they are a very good football team. Alex Mattingly did a great job tonight and we just pray that he is ok. He is a great QB and plays with his heart during every game. Everyone says St X may be down this year, but I wouldn't want my son playing anywhere else.
  7. St. X definitely has 3 or 4 running backs that could compete and play beside Dawkins though I will not say they are better than him as no one is able to make that determination if they don't play in the same backfield. St. X does have one of the most over looked QB'S in the area and maybe in the state. I find it funny that Kyle Bolin at Lex Cath gets all this pub when as a sophomore and a junior Alex Mattingly was clearly the much more talented QB while they were on the same field playing against each other. He has a stronger arm than Bolin and he is much quicker and elusive. Unfortunately, he is a little undersized at 5'10" but he is a solid 185 pounds. St. X will go as far as Mattingly carries them and if Glaser allows him to really expand the offensive play calling then you will see some good things out of the Tigers this year. X also has some excellent recievers in Matt Wempe, Jake Johson and several others and if Glaser lets them throw the ball this year then you will see some things you are definitely not used to seeing at X. X does still have multiple athletes on the team they are just not as big as some teams in the past. Should be an interesting year and X's schedule is as good as anyone's in the state including Trinity's.
  8. Alex Mattingly at St.X is way under the radar and one of the best running and throwing QB's in the state. Great arm and quick feet which Simon Kenton clearly found out in the first half Friday. Keep an eye on this kid's numbers and see how far he carries the Tigers.
  9. Can someone tell us where a good place would be for all of the St X fans to eat, drink and be merry prior to the scrimmage?
  10. Mattingly was injured during the PRP game where he sprained the medial part of his ankle causing significant swelling and ligament strain.
  11. Let's not discuss disrespect. I could go on and on but because St X fans have more respect than that, we won't bring anything up. St X had alot of players out last night and were still able to come out with a win. Hopefully Jay Hayden will be back in 2 weeks - we may need him against the best team ever at Trinity.
  12. If this day comes, the word is, both programs will do as Montgomery Bell has done in TN and leave the KHSAA. At this point both schools can offer athletic scholarships. The KHSAA will have no authority to regulate this. So basically the public schools will be cutting their noses off to spite their faces. X and T will be able to cherry pick the best players IN ALL SPORTS in Jefferson and surrounding counties and So Indiana. If the Public Schools don't like the current environment wait until X and T really go after the best talent.
  13. Coach Glasers birthday was Friday. What a wonderful gift from his football team. We love you Coach Glaser. You are derfinitly a class act.
  14. How good is the Collinsworth kid? Love to see him wear the Blue & White for the Cats. His grandpa Lincoln Collinsworth played basketball for Rupp.
