I think the Tigers will have their hands full with the well-balanced pass/run offense of the Raiders for three quarters before getting some breathing space due to their depth in the 4th quarter.

Ryle's defense must be fairly strong also since they held Highlands to 37 and 31 points in two games against them this season.

Prediction: Saint Xavier 38 - Ryle 21

St X by a lot. 52-21. Ryle is good, no doubt, but St X is on a whole 'notha level.

Ryles passing game is very similar to Manual except Ryle is in the I formation(most of the time). But their(Ryle) QB is more composed and accurate but their receivers are not as threatening.

Running the ball they are more physical than Manual with less deception.

I think St. X will have to throw it to win it.

It will come down to who's passing game has the most success.

My head says St. X 31 -Ryle 10 but I hope Ryle 17 St.X 10.

It seems to me that Ryle struggles with a strong running team (ie SK). X is a very strong running team with much depth in the backfield.

On that point alone I think its a long day for Ryle.

Add in fast, strong LBs and, unfortunately, Ryle will struggle.

X is obviously an extremely dangerous team, but ryle can also be very dangerous with elliot and hempel in the backfield. My senses say x might come in a little cocky so look for a better game than expected i say...

Saint Xavier 35-Ryle 28

Ryle will have learned from their experiences with Highlands and SK, and staff experience from Papa Johns 2006

Ryle 38 St X 35

My heart is with Ryle but my head is with X.

I don't have a score prediction, but this is all X.

Here's how you can look at it. Ryle gave up a lot of yards to PRP which had one good back. I do not think Ryle will even come close to stopping a three headed monster in St. X running backs. Ryle is the most balanced team in NKY, but that means nothing when you take a trip down 71. Plus travel and a banged up recieving core has all the possible makings for a old fashioned schooling. X 52- Ryle 14.

The best possible chance for an upset comes the week after when X meets SK.

This the most balance Ryle has ever had. But SK has more. I think if Ryle can hold Highlands under 40 in both games maybe they can keep X under 40 also. But your right, the 20th could be the best game of the year in the state. :thumb:

St. X is a machine just like Highlands and they should handle their business. Ryle will make it a decent game early but in the end the Tigers will move on.

St. X 34

Ryle 16

Is St. x's QB still out? And if so, when will he be back?

I believe he is out for the rest of the season. But I am not sure.

Sorry Ryle and NKY faithful..but X waaaayyy too strong for you. Doubt it will be close.

Unfortunate to Ryle but they will get blown off the field. St X 49 - Ryle 14.
