  1. Sk has a different field surface than anyone in NKY besides maybe Ryle. Not very many places in the state have it. IMO I think Scott should have to prove they are worthy of a nice facility first.
  2. Patrick Bustle of Sk graduated two years ago, played both
  3. Honestly... All Sk will have next year is D. Lawrence will be running for his life, thanks to the new and lacking o-line. It really killed Sk on the offensive side of the ball to have 6 players up front leave. We will see this year though!!!! P.S. I would put Baldwin against any LB in NKY, because he is the very best in NKY.
  4. Im sensing a little favoritism ? :sssh:
  5. Cooper in my opinion has the best rb in northern kentucky in Bradley, the kid rushed for 1,000 yards last year with zero help from the o-line, Simpson rushed close to 2500 but he had the bes o-line in the state.
  6. Lawrence is a special player. But the best o-line in the state graduated, i just dont see SK running too much this year. I think that they have a solid 4 or 5 receivers that can get it done. So look for Sk to be more of an aerial attack team, rather than their normal run-balanced offense
  7. I'm not trying to throw Zeke under the bus or anything but he didn't really play QB at all. Ryan Wilson was the starter. Zeke played OLB and wasn't that great. I don't think he's a top 5 guy. Who are the schools ?
  8. I'm not bitter, Hansel just receives too much hype than he deserves. If he was the size of Piccirillo he wouldn't be in a Ball State jersey next year.
  9. Hansel was a great lineman, but his size was what drove him. Even many scouts have criticized him for lack of mobility and footwork. The supporting cast on the O-line made up for Hansel's mistakes. One key note: I have been to many games and he allowed the most sacks this year. But best of luck to the young man in college. I say Collinsworth.
  10. Bryan Station's coach re-signed with the team.
  11. I think when Conner's #10 (I believe) made the full length of the court shot it kind of demoralized Sk a little and the momentum really shifted. Good win to the Conner.
  12. Well SK did manage to put up 34 on X and I believe that Trinity only put up a low 10?
  13. Who in NKY will have the most success in 2010?
  14. Maybe the rest of Kentucky is starting to realize that Trinity may not be the powerhouse they used to be.
  15. To the Trinity fans... I didn't want to say I told you so. I believe the regional was the real championship game.
  16. X will win big. SK would have spanked Trinity. X again wins big 42-14.
  17. Please tell me who is faster on X's team than on Hc's team. The skill players from HC own the track and field area. X may be more athletic but not faster.
  18. Manual is a very good team. Im pretty sure they lost to X by 7 and had several mistakes on a wet field. If on dry field Manual wins that game. Manual is a tremendous team.
  19. I believe Hansel #74 is just as good. He has yet to be blown off the ball.
  20. Ryle is no where near as fast as SK. I believe Henry Clay is faster than X. SK has seen speed but have had trouble with it around the edges. I think if SK can stretch plays out instead of give lanes, that they can win the ball game. SK 28-X 22
  21. I thought the game was indeed a good one. Manual plays extremely hard, but i believe in the second quarter #62 Danny Williams was hurt and Manual's team did not take a knee. This also happened last year against Trinity when Lawrence got hurt. I just think Louisville needs to show some class. NKY at least has that, and also the play of the O-line in the second half really surprised me. #74 Hansel started crushing people as well as #76 Adam Heidrich, IMO he really has stepped up on the right side after the loss of Picirillo, really taking #71 under his wing and stepping up as a senior. I tip my hat to those 2 boys on the line. Overall a great game, and I cannot wait for friday's game in Louisville
