Great game and effort by Manual and Simon Kenton.....I've said this before and I believe it still, I think Joe Nichols has taken this program as far as he can.......I don't know who would be next to take them higher, but I think the time is coming. Coach J at Ballard could boost them.

SK wins by 14 next week...SK beat Ryle 49-29 and I can also say it really wasn't that close...NKY 6a brings home a title this year GO NEERS...

X beat manual by a TD and Sk beat the by a TD and FG...X beat Butler 35-7 and SK beat them 49-7...X beat boone 49-0 and SK beat them 63-21...This theory doesn't always hold true when comparing similar oppenents but I believe your way off base by saying SK has NO chance...NO chance that this game is blowout like you seem too think it will be!!!

I will say, I think there is a much better chance that X beats SK by 14 other than the latter which is your prediction.

I believe its a 2td game either way...I just can't pull against SK since im an Sk grad but it should be a very competitive game...

I would be absolutely shocked if SK gets 40 points.....Actually if my right arm just fell off my body, it would shock me less than SK scoring 40 on X.

I have to admit, I was scared we were done. Miles just wasn't Miles tonight. He just didn't give 100%. Almost the whole game our defense was having a terrible time stopping the run. SK didn't play as well as they should have in the first two quarters. Third a little better, fourth you could tell they wanted it. Miles started to give that extra effort as well. Chad Lawrence, QB, wasn't feeling well before the game - throwing up in the garbage can - could have been nerves, but what a great young man. He took an unbelievable hit and congratulated his opponent. He played 125% and you couldn't ask for more from him. Simon has it in them to give St. X a better game than Ryle did. SK won't go down without a great fight. Great teams have been beating before and this could be SK's year. Who knows? What an upset that would be! Even IF SK loses next week, another great year for those Pioneers. I'm proud of their accomplishments and proud to be a "true blue" fan.

Just got home from this great game. Hard hitting on both sides. Very clean game. I think their were only 4 flags thrown between the 2 teams. Dropped passes killed Manual. This game was still up for grabs until the 2 minute mark. It looked like the Manual coaches watched the tape of the Henry Clay game against S.K. Manual got most of their yards on the sweep to the left just like H.C. And for those who said S.K. couldn't win by passing. If it wasn't for key passing on third down they wouldn't have won. Good luck next week to S.K.

Miles puts up 200 yds and 3tds a game and SK's passing game is just as good. I think they are very capable of putting up 40

Dose anyone have the final stats on the game? I'm guessing Manual out rushed S.K.
