I have to admit, I was scared we were done. Miles just wasn't Miles tonight. He just didn't give 100%. Almost the whole game our defense was having a terrible time stopping the run. SK didn't play as well as they should have in the first two quarters. Third a little better, fourth you could tell they wanted it. Miles started to give that extra effort as well. Chad Lawrence, QB, wasn't feeling well before the game - throwing up in the garbage can - could have been nerves, but what a great young man. He took an unbelievable hit and congratulated his opponent. He played 125% and you couldn't ask for more from him. Simon has it in them to give St. X a better game than Ryle did. SK won't go down without a great fight. Great teams have been beating before and this could be SK's year. Who knows? What an upset that would be! Even IF SK loses next week, another great year for those Pioneers. I'm proud of their accomplishments and proud to be a "true blue" fan.

Hopefully, the team that shows up for SK is not the one that played against Scott last week. I am a "true blue" fan and know how bad SK wants this. So...with saying that...I think it will be close in the beginning and then SK will pull away, winning by two touchdowns.
