For those who know L'vill football, what can we expect from the Bears. After looking at their stats they appear to have a nice rushing attack with very little passing game. Apparently they have a nice back in Deangelo Thomas, two year starter posting over 2000yds during the past two seasons. What type of size and speed do they bring to the table?

Friday at 730pom.

Simon Kenton 34-14.

SK 34-14

SK 21-0

SK big...49-13

Lets see if the Pioneers dont get caught up in over looking a quality number 4 team. Butler has size and speed on offense. I hope the Pioneers do it like they did last year and take it one game at a time. Never overlook any team in the playoffs because there is no tommorrow if you faulter. SK 31 Butler 7.

I do not think it will be that close.

Wise post for a new member trueblue. Welcome to BGP. A #4 seed from Louisville district should be taken seriously. I hate to play the compare the scores game but St. X. 35 Butler 7; St. X. 32 Trinity 7. SK needs to focus, put their game faces on and take care of business. If they do that, then your score above looks good to me.

Hopefully, the team that shows up for SK is not the one that played against Scott last week. I am a "true blue" fan and know how bad SK wants this. So...with saying that...I think it will be close in the beginning and then SK will pull away, winning by two touchdowns.

So what type of offense does Butler run? How big is Thomas?

Mostly I-Wing, but also power I, split back, stacked I (all 3 backs lined up in a row) and very very very little spread stuff. Occasionally will split out one receiver. They run the ball to set up the run from what I have seen.
