Is Central playing X to two touchdowns a moral victory?
5 ROUTE replied to theguru's topic in KY Football (High School)
I don't think so. Once you hold a title you no longer have moral victories. -
The future looks bright for the young Jackets!! Scroggins must have his team believing that they can play with anybody.

Central (JV and Frosh) beat St. X (JV and Frosh)
5 ROUTE posted a topic in KY Football (High School)
The future sure looks bright for Central!!! On Monday the JV win 15-14 and Thursday the Freshman win 18-6. I'm not sure the last time (if ever) that this has happened. Scroggings and his staff seem to have them on the right track. -
Lafayette vs. Lou. Central Rules Question

If Lafayette had 2 shots from the 1 yard line it doesn't sound like the refs cost them the game. IMO -
Lou. Central Yellow Jackets

If I remember correctly they have a strong spoh. class and a bunch of studs coming in. They should be back on top again in 3a.

UK pretty much had Tim all along. Kragthrope lost this kid. Before this season Patterson was die hard UL. Coach Strong fought hard to get him but Joker did an excellent job. Congrats Tim.

Tim Patterson will choose between Louisville and Kentucky

Farmer wold be a good fit for Male. But would be worried if I was Farmer. I believe Doss fired or did not renew the last coach who went looking for a new job.

Central's Tim Patterson Committed?
5 ROUTE replied to CentreRocks's topic in KY Football (High School)
Tim will more than likely commit to a D1 school but will be a prop until he gets his grades up. But he will have to do so very quickly. No matter how good he is, the school is not going to wait for ever for him to get it together. Good luck Tim where ever you go and with rehab. -

I said it earlier in the year that ST. Xis going to be tough to beat. They have a ton of speed to go along with strength and size plus depth. They should go ahead and UPS the trophy to Poplar Level Rd. Good Luck Tigers. -
Central just keeps finding away to win with all of the injuries racking up. This is a true sign of a champion. They played a total of 10 freshmen according to their roster. If this is supposed to be the Central team that is not as good as years past, then you better look out for the future. Playing all of these young guys only make them tougher. There is about 8 of the seniors who have played in over 45 games. Experience is one thing that the Jackets have.

This is a pretty good post. But it seems that everyone has been going against the Jackets. Each week people say that this team isn't this or isn't as good as they once was. The fact remains is the have good coaches and tons of speed and a good running attack. It doesn't hurt that these kids Know how to win. In addition to all of the injuries they still keep putting kids in and find a way to win. I'm not for sure but I believe they play 4 or 5 freshmen, so at this point in the season these kids have played some good football. It will not be the same game as last year but please ther is something going on down at Central. Again that was a great post. Just too throw my 2 cents in. -

I have been watching this Central team all season. They might not be as good as years past but, for this team to lose the players they lost and play the teams they've played there's one thing for sure and that is they know how to fight for the W. If Henry Co. is as tough as people say and if they think there going to stroll into the hive and stop the running game then they are sadly mistaken. They may give the Jackets all they what and then some but you have to play for 48 minutes and that excatly what this Central team does. I've seen them get beat by some real good teams and those teams were surprised at how fast and hard this teams plays. So good luck to both teams and may the best team win. -

With Pt went through ealy on in the season it's hard to count them out, but I'll go with R'ville 21-20. Should be a great game. Can any one provide a breakdown of both teams? -
