Only info I have I think Hills was up 7 point with about 5 minutes to go in the game.

I must Say Western hills shocked alot of folks tonight.

Not shocked at all. This is a Central team that's not quite the caliber of last year's state champs (although they may well win it again), and this is a tremendous Hills team.

WHHS had a fine season. Good luck to all the seniors that help lay the foundation of that program. Coach Miller and his coaches will continue to build that program.

Western Hills did everything they wanted to stay in the game and have an opportunity to win, but the Central able to make a big play at the end. The score was close all game, with neither team ahead by more than 7. Central scored with 6 seconds left in

1st half, then scored winning TD with 29 seconds left. JWright had a monster game on both sides of the ball. Hills able to run the ball inside all night and Central could not stop the run even with 9 in the box. Curry had a great night throwing the ball when Hills needed to passes. HUGE offensive facemask call on Hills with 2 minutes left with Western Hills driving for possible winning score (Wright's finger got caught in a defender's facemask that dove at his legs). Both teams only punted one time each. Central's RB (#2) is the real deal, very quick and difficult to tackle. The sign of a champion is they make plays when the game is on the line, and Central did that last night. GREAT effort by Western Hills when many were predicting them to get beaten by 3-4 TDs. Western Hills' senior class had a great night and season - and this game is a testament to their hard work.

Congrats to Central on the win and to WH on a fine, fine run over the past two years. As one that covers the Hills district (North Oldham, Henry, and Spencer), I was able to watch "from afar" as it were as this senior class took their lumps as sophomores, improved dramatically as juniors, and matured into quite a team as seniors. Kudos to coach Miller and the Wolverines on a really sweet run and best of luck next year.

Great call by Scroggins to get the speedster Robinson matched up against the big LB Curry on the screen pass to win the game. Robinson caugth the ball and was out the gate. Two soon to be team mates have a story to share what a great game to watch. Both teams fought hard all night long, it's a shame, but some one had to lose. Jackets seem to be doing whatever it takes to win. Thats a sign of a battle tested champion.

Great year for Hills and a great four years for that senior class. You will all be missed for all that you have done for this program, you guys wrote a whole new chapter to the book. Take care seniors and best of luck, you guys will never be forgotten. :cry:
