I doubt that either team has a huge speed advantage over each other. This game will be fast all night long. Central needs to hold on to the football to have a chance. I think Central will fight for the upset 22-21

Congrats.... Is this from default? Have the big 3 (Belfrey, Breathitt, Central) in 3A fallen. I know they all have early losses.

I believe Lucas is playing QB. I don't know why they don't throw it more with him. He is a very good athlete and is capeable of running it as well. Tough kid.

ST. X looked like a machine. They now have a lot of speed to go along with their depth and size.

There seem to be more athletes than football players anymore. Athletes give you the wow factor so some things will be forgiving if they dont know the ins and outs of the game. Football players have to rely on their field smarts, that all they have. Most kids don't understand the rules or situations of the game that there playing. Now I don't know if that's bad coaching or kids being kids. With limited time to practice there are some things we just expect kids to know.

Football is an emotional sport, there for I think a good pep talk is very useful. It gives the coach a chance to show his passion in front of his team. IMO Lou Holtz was the best.

Patterson only gets about 5-10 plays a game on offense. It will be tough for him to win Mr. football. Maybe his role will increase as the saeson goes on. Great athlete

Central still has alot of work to do. Take nothing away from Senaca they played very well , back up or not. WR #12 is a beast.

Shawnee is improving. They might pull this one out. Would this be considered an upset?

Doss still has a good team but they lost a lot of seniors last year. They should be fighting for second place this year. Coach Farmer will get them together.
