  1. I would have thought the Sweeny kid would have too. SK have no freshman play up on JV but do have an 8th grader in Cameron Racke.
  2. Zach McNeil doesn't make this list? I know he is new to the 9th but reputation alone gets him in this top ten.
  3. Yes he was in a car wreck this summer and got another concussion. His career is over, sadly. Good kid.
  4. I heard Hatton broke his collar bone last night.
  5. Robbie Hurst took the freshman job at Conner.
  6. I heard Cody Chambers was MVP for the SR squad.
  7. Miron Mindolavich the Croatian Sensation. Him and Todd Conley where and good duo. I remember when Randy picked up Miron and brought to EC.
  8. The snake Randy McCoy is going back home. No worrys for East Ridge Randy recruited international kids before it was cool to do so.
  9. Another KY boy, Treg Setty from Mason County, is leaving a D1 school. Southern Ill. I believe it is.
  10. Ohio team won by 11 I believe. I forget the score. Ohio team was loaded with talent and the KY team had talent but struggled at the guard position. Jaysean Paige scored in double digits but really struggled against the Ohio guards. He probably had 6 turnover or more. Nathan Dieudonne carried the KY team with 26 points. Him and Paige where the only ones in double digits. I thought Jagos Lasic played well but didn't get many touches. The Ohio team was more athletic and had many highlight reel type dunks. Including one over Dieudonne that was nasty. Got kind of got out of hand with the Ohio players talking trash. Got so bad the refs sent the kids to the bench to cool off. Spoke to a few college coaches about Paige. They said nobody was offering him because of grades and attitude.
  11. Is Hatton staying at Dixie or going prep school?
  12. I believe the Shinning Stars.
  13. Does anybody know of any freshman coaching jobs that are opening up?
  14. Cody Chambers showed why is one of the best players in the 8th if not the best. He played one of his best games against a solid D1 player Jordan Green, who guarded him all night. Great game Cody.
  15. Robinson has been playing up at Simon Kenton since he was a 7th grader. He starts JV and get quite a few varsity minutes.
  16. Holmes won by 6 I believe, can't remember the score. SK led most the game but Holmes's press wore them down. PG for Holmes is the real deal. Scored from all areas and some of his passes would have made ESPN top ten. Anderson for SK played very well beating the Holmes PG off the bounce several times to get to the rim and score. I thought Racke for SK played very well and he is a legit 7th grader.
  17. Did they do this without Sampson again?
  18. Is the Stanley kid playing freshman for Boone?
  19. SK was also missing their second leading scorer in Andrew Sampson tonight. Good sweep by SK tonight.
  20. Holmes could move up several 8th graders as well. Their 8th grade is stacked with talent, size and speed.
  21. Sk overwhelmed PC today. Kids play so hard for Steiner.
  22. Dixie lost all five quarters. Fox looked overmatched. LaSalle is well coached and played very hard.
  23. Ronnie Rousseau- Winton Woods PG: It took him a little while to get going but Rousseau showed a glimpse Saturday of what CPHR had been expecting after such a dominant summer in AAU. Ronnie showed improved understanding of how to score over bigger defenders by using change of speed and direction, as well as a nice new step-back move, to create room to finish or shoot his pure jumper. Martin Jones- ’14 Winton Woods SF: Jones has put himself squarely on the map as a small forward as he has transitioned from a skilled post to a big strong wing. Jones was stroking the three ball all weekend and is starting to show some ballhandling ability as well. If he keeps up his current level of play expect Martin to play a big role at Winton Woods this season Trent Donald- Winton Woods PF: Playing in his old HS gym Donald took advantage of familiar territory. What sticks out about Trent right now is his slimmed down physique which has added another level of quickness to him as he attacks defenders out of the high post. Will Cox- ’13 Princeton C: One of the best athletes in the state at 6'6 CPHR always knew that Cox, who was the slam dunk contest runner up, could jump. This weekend he showed that he might be worthy of a role on the Viking squad as he showed a high motor getting up and down the court and finished around the rim with good consistency. If he can continue to improve his skills Cox could become a standout player very soon. Malcolm Smith- Princeton SG: Put on a scoring display Saturday as he was simply too much for his opponents off the dribble. Smith scored at the rim and showed his usual consistency from behind the arc. Several Division II college coaches commented on his improvement and believe that he is one of Ohio's top sleeper prospects in '12. aDorian Jordan- Princeton PG: Speaking of making teammates better, no one makes their teammates look as good as Dorian. In transition he has such a keen understanding of speed and space that he can wait till the perfect time to deliver a pass to a cutting teammate. Jordan also is shooting the ball with a lot more confidence from deep, as he will need to do with opposing teams backing off him due to his quickness. Eric Tivis- Princeton SF: A talented prospect that is a little under the radar, after missing last season, Tivis was the talk of the crowd on Saturday. He scored well over 20 points and impressed CPHR with his improving skill set. Tivis is long, athletic, and attacks the rim under control. His three point shot has improved and his handle is getting to the point that he will become a legit guard prospect. Could have a breakout year for the deep and talented Vikings. Princeton is loaded with talent, they are ranked in the top 10 in the state of Ohio. Will get info on g-town and others but the two top ohio teams at the event are Winton Woods and Princton. I got this off of cinyprepshoops. they have alot of info on Ohio b-ba
