Republic Bank Classic at Lex Cath. They play Lakota West tomorrow.

Good team ball displayed by the Neers. Fayette was a lot bigger and more athletic But SK seemed to want it a lot more. 1:30 game tomorrow with a chance to play Trinity with a victory.

Simon Kenton 58, Fayette, Ga. 53: Fayette, Ga., brought an 8-0 record to town, and looked like it would stay unbeaten when it led Simon Kenton 45-36 to start the fourth quarter.

But the Pioneers rallied, outscoring Fayette 22-8 to pull out the victory.

Cody Chambers led Simon Kenton with 17 points. Ryan Mullen and Cody Monson had 12 points apiece.

Brandon Grant's 19 points led Fayette, which is coached by former Woodford County and Transylvania star Andre Flynn. It made it to the semifinals in this tournament last year.

Sampson played, but showed some signs of rust from not playing. Hopefully he regains his form sooner rather than later.
