If SK has a weakness it's their pass defense. I'm sure Butler will have some nice runs but I don't seeing a team beating them without being able to pass to keep them honest.

I agree! SK has proven they can stop the run and get after the QB, but need to tighten up when the ball's in the air. A one dimentional team should not give them too much trouble, if they come ready to play!

SK rolls in this one. Stay focused and stay healthy are the goals for this game.

I'd say SK by 4 TD's but Butler being a Louisville school I wouldn't be surprised if it's closer.

 

Will be interesting to see how much SK shows on offense. It seems that in certain games they would run plays very well but then change it up, almost like they're really trying to not show too many tendencies in terms of shifting formations and what not.

One thing that makes me kind of nervous about this game is that Butler was 6-0 at one point in this season, They've dropped 4 straight, but unless they've forgotten how to win, they have had success this season.

I believe in tradition and Butler has won two state titles, so lets see Butler with the win....24-12. Bears started the season with 6 straight wins and then their teams got stronger, but they can play. All my in-laws went there.

They were 6-0 largely in part that their out of district schedule was watered down. Gone from the previous year was Male, Trinity and Ballard. They were replaced by P.L. Dunbar, Southern and Doss and they benefited from getting Western on a sloppy track. Butler might have really gone in the tank after losing to PRP (which got them 4th place and a date with SK) and losing to Meade at home by 2 TD's last friday.

 

I think SK will win, but not in a blowout as some are suggesting.

There is no tradition left at Butler, Bocko destroyed that. This was a great group of young men, they had the ability to very good. They have played the best teams in 6A for the past two years, only to play the lower level this year in 6A, which did not prepare them for the district or playoffs. Wins were important for these kids, but they needed to play competition.:ohbrother:
