Nice wins tonight by SK, HHS, and X. Can someone tell me why the Ryle/X thread was shut down so early? One can only assume things were getting nasty there. The only thing I have to say is that the larger private schools should dominate and they usually do year in and year out with a few exceptions. I believe on average X and Trinity have double the male population that any other 6A school in the state. I mean c'mon man, is anybody really surprised by these scores? It's just the way it's always going to be until there are changes made within the state of KY. Like it or not, it is what it is.............just one question for the X and T fans.............Don't you honestly think you have a huge advantage over the public school system? Please be honest. I picked X to win it all, but it's not like I was going out on a limb.

The refs said the ball was tipped at the line...i didnt see the tip...and if it wasnt for the refs saying that...it was 100% pass interference

It looked like the defenders feet got tangled with the TE and they both fell.

I think it would depend on who you were rooting for whether it was interference. I think by rule it is not interference it would be called incidental contact as both players were making a move for the ball.

This is St. Xavier....not NKY 6A and Lexington.

 

 

Well NKY 6A is starting to get a little more respect because last week Louisville schools would have been included in the quote. Now it is just the big 2 that is being mentioned.....progress!

I had a good view of it. IMO it was tipped. Anyway it looked both players got their legs tangled. Same thing happen earlier in the game to a S.K. player. S.K. fans went nuts. Both were good non calls IMO. And for someone to say Simpson wasn't giving 100% :madman: Manuals D played good. They were big, fast and hit hard. What killed Manual were the dropped passes.

My denigrating comments about NKY 6A aside, this is definitely a good stepping stone for Simon Kenton.

 

If they can keep up the level of play they have this year and improve their schedule I think that they could definitely compete for the title. I think playing some GCL teams would help NKY 6A immensely.

I think that next year they will not be as good. Ryle should be the team to beat in NKY 6A next year. IMO

Ryle will be the favorite, no doubt. SK will still have some very good players but will have to rebuild the OLine.
