  1. You are wrong, it does not have to go to a senior ( SEE DARRELL GRIFFITH) Right now it should go to either Elisha Justice or Josh Sewell, but it is very difficult for a Jefferson County player and especially a PRIVATE SCHOOL PLAYER to get the support out in the state.Justice has a shot,
  2. When have you EVER seen X's coach smile? He seems to not ever have any FUN!
  3. Manual has many more females than males but that has nothing to do with football. As for trinity and X, yes enrollment is all boys but only about 13% of them play football in all 4 classes. 9-12. It is a no cut sport is why there are that many out for the teams. It is a way to be on a state championship team without really trying out. If you do not quit you are treated like all members of the team.
  4. Trinity and St X did play a common opponent last year that was a bigger squad in both size and numbers than both of them. That was Cincy St X. All three of these schools dress over 100. As for Manual, they do not have large numbers. There team is probably in the fifties or sixties in size and they probably played half their schedule against larger schools. They had few seniors last year and will ( should be) very good this year.
  5. Usually in a preseason scrimmage there are not kickoffs or punts. Will this be a true game like scrimmage?
  6. If their coach did not nominate them to play, they would not be considered . Coaches nominate several but that does not mean all are selected. I doubt that anyone is going to give out the nominated list, only those bthat were selected from that list. As you can see, most of these players are on the Courier Journal or other Allstate teams.High profile players.
  7. Thanks Tony, that is what I was trying to find out. 6A champions, without any college prospects. Great Coaching job.
  8. What argument are you talking about? Read the thread again and respond accordingly or not at all. The question asked was, Does anyone know of a player from this past years X team that received a D1 or any football scholarship?
  9. This has nothing to do with this thread. We are talking about this past year's group of St. X seniors.
  10. First of all this Thread said nothing about Trinity or about years past. The question asked was " St X won the largest division in KY football 2010 by going undefeated against the state's best , and has no player that I have heard of getting a D1 football offer". Does anyone know if there is a player from this year's team that has received a D1 scholarship? Looking at what was posted on Thursday regarding all the signings from all levels of colleges, I did not see a X player listed. Again, does anyone know of a player that did sign?
  11. I noticed after looking over all the names of players in KY that have signed at colleges, at any level, that I did not see any Saint X player mentioned. St. X won the largest division in Ky high school football and did it convincingly by being undefeated in the state of KY. Are there not any players at St. X good enough to play college football? If not, what a coaching job that staff did. Does anyone know if there is a player that received a scholarship ?
