Former Middlesboro stand out and Tusculum College signee Hunter Adama will leave T.C and walk on at U.K.

Adams heart was always with Kentucky so Congrats to Hunter and Good Luck at U.K:thumb:

“I know there are some big shoes to fill and growing up watching old tapes of dad play I had always dreamed of playing for the Big Blue and to have the opportunity feels great,” said Adams. “It’s what I’ve always wanted to do so I’m going to give it a shot.

Good luck to Hunter, I know he will make us proud in Bell County! You can do it! He will play, wait and see!

What position does he play?

The article says he will play slot Wr.

I was fortunate enough to see this young man play on several occasions. My favorite (and least favorite at the same time as I am from London) was the 6 TD performance against South Laurel on Halloween in 2008 when I was calling a game for broadcast. He scored in many different ways. 4 rushing, 1 receiving and 1 interception return for a TD.

Thanks for the clip, nice crisp footage. He has some nice open field moves.

I don't know if he can really contribute at UK, ... but would LOVE to see him succeed. He was fun to watch in HS, that's for sure. That night, it seemed that when Middlesboro wanted to score, just get the ball in his hands.

Good luck to Adams. I always enjoyed watching him play for the Yellow Jackets and hope to see him play for the Cats down the road.

Good luck

He's small, but Kentucky has done well with WR's of his size.

I hope it works out for him. Sounds like a dream come true. Never seen the kid play but I remember his name. Good luck. :thumb:

How would he compare to Dickie Lyons Jr.? He had success before his injury. Hope Adams does well.

He has the athletic ability to get some playing time somewhere, eventually.

Was that the game when he got hurt on the last play of the first half? If i remember he had something like over 300 yards rushing when he went out.

I'm not sure. I think he did sit for a little while that game with an injury and I am thinking he had around 272 yards rushing in the first half alone, but that is just my best memory of the halftime stats. He was money the entire night. It seemed that nearly everytime he touched the ball, he was making a big play.
