He will not be in the running for Mr. Basketball until next year, IMO.

Isn't Timmy a junior? I don't think he is eligible until he is a senior.

I think you need to get out in the state and see Bowling Green's Chane Behanan. He already has committed to Cincinnati in the Big East. He will have to beat him out first and foremost next year.

That's all fine and dandy, but he has to wait a year. Remember the KY Mr.BBall can only go to a Senior.

I really like Timmy, and he will tell you I do too! BUT, putting up those points last night in a 4 point win Vs a team with 15 loses?

 

If Timmy was a Sr this year, MAYBE he will be in the running. EC has only 6 loses this year, and as many have stated, he has carried his team on his back. BUT, who did those wins come against? If Timmy is to be highlighted next year, they should head to Lou, Lex and NKY and play anyone who is willing to play them. I know they have to play certain 16th region teams, but possibly drop the others and step up.

Last time I checked, Elijah Pittman put quite the beatdown on him in the State Tournament last year at Rupp and he is still around.

 

At this point I just don't see, as others will agree with me, that Knipp as being the best player in the state. He is one of the best in the state but not THE best. Alot of the time what determines the best player in the state is what kind of offers they are recieving from schools as they get closer and closer to college. For right now, I just don't see it but I've been wrong before.

Texas Leaguer you should have been in West Liberty, Kentucky last night to see the performance he put on. That's the problem with Timmy, people pass judgement on him without seeing him or compare him to a situation from last year that doesn't exist today. That state tournament with Pittman was last year, and I don't agree with your take, this is this year!
