Rowan County has a D1 QB so that could make it interesting.

My guess is CCH's O will be the difference.

D1? Wow...did not know that.

That being said they finished 3rd in a weak district. Could be an interesting game for awhile.

He committed to Marshall but then got an offer to play D1 basketball at OK State.

Wing is good, but Covington Catholic wins this game.

Rowan has a few nice players, but the only team they really stopped all year was Clark County last week. For example, they gave up 41 to Mason County and 46 to Boyd County. They (usually) have to rely on winning a shootout.

I'll say Colonels 42 Vikings 21.

I agree with Clyde. Anxious to see what the Covington Catholic Defense does against this team.

Agree, weather played a big part in the offenseive production in this game.

I was particularly impressed by the Cov Cath defensive backs this past weeks. Overall they did VERY well against the pass. Admittedly, I don't know much about Rowan this year, but I know that "shootouts" are tough to compete in without a strong pass game. If Cov Cath can keep Rowan from completing passes, I don't see the Vikings having much success on Saturday at all...

They may need to call this game due to darkness.
