  1. I hope that they all do not go to New York. This "Big Three" system will hurt the NBA in the long run. The fall off between good teams and bad teams will be huge. There is already a pretty big gap, if players start grouping up like this it will make it worse.
  2. Now that is funny! I am sure the young man is frustrated with his current situation, but when you sit out a year because you didn't want to play that raises some red flags with schools who would take a risk with you. I wish him luck in his search.
  3. The West Wing season 4 on DVD. Can't believe I didn't catch this show when it was actually on TV. Great show!
  4. Agreed Statman! I spoke with Bezhold at NKU Team Camp and he indicated they were meeting with a number of Division I players who were interested in getting some more playing time and competing for a title. He would not share names but seemed excited about the prospects.
  5. I live in KY but have a vehicle with Ohio plates because I have a company vehicle that is registered to my Ohio employer. We are not all cheaters!
  6. DIII will be way down next year. Other than Beechwood who will be very strong, Dayton lost everyone, and Calvary lost their top players. Bellevue is still rebuilding. Villa loses their leading scorer, Heritage may not have a team, and Silver Grove lost their coach and may struggle to get a team together. I think with those teams Ludlow can find some wins against their DIII schedule.
  7. I think Dusty is a great manager. I only wish he would have stuck with Rhodes yesterday because Coco has been a little shaky at best as of late and Rhodes has been locked in. Can't hang all of the losses on the manager. I am more dissapointed in Cordero and Nix for this loss.
  8. I agree. It was one loss. I was very dissapointed in the loss but in the long run it was only one loss.
  9. Always the same argument posted against small schools. They play the schedule that they are given and they win their games. There are a lot of small schools that play inferior talent and do not get the "W" I don't think BW's schedule was that "tough" this year, but lets not discredit their 20 wins.
  10. Great news for a great kid. I have enjoyed watching Pohlgeers play the past three years for Beechwood. I am sure there are a lot of DIII coaches that are glad to see him go! Best of luck to Jonny on his next step.
  11. Marty just said the ball went off of Nix over the fence for a homer......wow.
  12. Why take out Rhodes for Cordero? I wish they would stick with him to get them out of this jam.
  13. I figured Hart was the guy from the start, I think this would be a great hire for Ludlow. He would understand how to handle a small school program, as he showed at Silver Grove.
  14. I had never seen the movie "Memento" until a few weeks ago. Still scratching my head! Wife and I watched "Law Abiding Citizen" and "Gone Baby Gone" both good movies.
  15. Alex Dinkel is a victim, that is clear. But he is not a victim of actions from CovCath he is a victim because of the illegal and immoral actions of his mother.
  16. A lot tougher to read. Would like to see a way to condense the posts.
  17. Bob Schneider is a coaching legend in NKY. Period. I don't care if he didn't schedule Highlands in the later part of his career. That doesn't matter to me nor does it take away from his accomplishments.
  18. Wow, thats a big accomplishment. Congrats to Coach Krump.
  19. Beechwood is a talented team, but a very young team. I think with youth like that you are going to take some lumps every once and a while.
