Holmes senior forward Jeremiah Johnson on Friday signed with Campbellsville University, according to Holmes coach David Henley. Johnson, an Enquirer all-star, was a three-year starter. He was a starter on the Bulldogs’ 2008 state runner-up and 2009 state championship teams.

Yup...When I spoke with him about a week ago he said he was going to decide between Campbellsville and NKU.

Congrats J J and good luck at Campbellsville. He was somewhat of a silent force but he really had some exceptional District Tourneys the past couple years garnering the MVP award. That shows he is someone that may even develop more once he gets into a system that might feature his athleticism a little more. Playing behind Elijah and Ricardo was probably tough but he seemed to be a very good team player.

This is a very good get for Campbellsville. Usually the NAIA's have to get this level of player/athlete after they've gone too far away from home.
