#75 is one of my favorite high school players of all time.

 

Jake has fought through just about every injury that a high school athlete could experience. As with most Beechwood kids--he is a better person than football player.

Jake is a great kid, wise beyond his years. I hope that everything works out for him at Hanover. He has had an uphill battle with injuries.

This young man amazed me week in and week out and what a great young man to get to know. I wish him the best and he will do well at Hanover College. JD

Way to go, Man. It will be very rewarding to help the program turn around. It is a very young team and expectations are decently high for the next few seasons, given the tough times of the last few years. You will love it.

I concur with the comments above. Great young man who is mature beyond his years. He played with injuries that should have ended his season but he wanted that senior season and fought his way through it game by game. A role model for all those who follow him at Beechwood. I hope Jake enjoys as much success on the field as he will have in the classroom. Congratulations!

Congrats to you, young man. I got to know this young gentleman while coaching at SOAS and he was a score keeper out there. Great kid. Very happy for you Jake.

I am so happy for Jake and his family! My son had the honor of being on the 07 team with Jake. Jake is a tremendous young man that comes from a great family!
