Hatton is fun player to watch play basketball. The kid just scores and scores. He is pretty impressive. At this pace people will be talking about this kid for a while. Keep it up young man!

Parking at the State Tournament starts at around $10

I would much rather pay $3 to park in a lot close to the gym than try to search for a parking spot at some of these schools.

I loved the old Dixie gym! They built classrooms in that space. I think that was 8 or 9 years ago.

First, it's my opinion that it is very easly to blame Ref's and call them terrible from the stands. As someone who has tried to Ref before I have a much greater respect for what they do. Parents and Coaches never miss a call. **off soapbox** As far as previous experience I would say that most in the 9th region have some but that does not necessarily make them qualified or better referee's. Just like the best players don't always make the best coaches. So its really hard to say one way or the other.

I saw this move made last night in the Beechwood/Villa Madonna game.......and it was called a walk!!

:thumb::thumb: The Camels were just outmatched last night. Not a knock on them as they are having a good year and have a very good team but they took a 34 point loss. It happens. Just dust yourself off watch the film and learn and move on. No excuses needed.

When The Post closed so did the coverage of NKY prep sports, its really a shame.

I agree. It's not like you get to 115 by just running your sets and executing plays. You have to want to win by that much. Can you be really proud when you get on the bus? I understand the arguments that you have to be able to stop them and there will always be lopsided victories but 90 points seems a little excessive. Does anyone know the details?

Wow! Great game from Mayfield. Congratulations on the dominating victory. Also congrats to Hazard to making it to the Finals.

Pike is very tough to handle in the post. I thought he played a nice game against Conner. I don't know the Graff kid but I would say he will have his hands full.

A charge that did not get called at the end of the first quarter. There was the goaltending call against Pike in the first half, looked like he just touched the net. A few minutes later the goaltending non-call from the Pike stick back dunk that got Hicks a little upset. Overall the calls were inconsistent.

Wow awesome story. These are the guys who are there all of the time and rarely ever get noticed. Glad to see they are recognized for their service to the athletes of Northern Kentucky. Great story!!!

Dixie grad so I have to take my Colonels in this one. I think this will be a great match-up and a great way to kick off this season!

IMO 35th would be the toughest. There are really no cupcakes in that district. If you look at each district listed there are some teams who would be favorable matchups. In the 35th each team would be a tough out.
