There is human error in the game, you will never get away from it it is part of the game. Ref's don't see everything and they can't, even with a three man crew. As a fan you might see it and if they didn't see it you write it off as them being poor officials. I think most fans are not as educated on the rules, a fan may think something is a violation when in reality it is not. If an official called every single violation the game would never leave the free throw line. I prefer when officials let the kids play a little. I don't think it is as bad as people on here make it out to be. Its always easy to blame the officials.

Saw Cruse in the box score for Beechwood against Villa, so he will be back. I don't know how much the Tigers will use him.

I like Dixie in this game. I think their guards will be extremely phsyical with CovCath and guard play will be the deciding factor. If Pike can stay out of foul trouble he should be anble to bang in the paint with Thelan. I like Dixie in a close one.

Wow, never heard that story on Hatton, thats pretty amazing. This probably should have a thread of it owns to discuss the great players and stories that came out of Turners. I would venture to guess that a lot of the top talent in NKY at some point traveled through Turners.

I agree they have tremendous Defense and that is what gets you to Rupp. I think the one thing the Dawgs are lacking this year is depth. They don't have a lot of options off of the bench to help them with scoring. Pittman is the key to this team, if Elijah stays out of foul trouble and focuses on his inside game Holmes is scary dangerous. They could get knocked off in the region tournament but up against any team in the 9th I am going to take Holmes.

Beechwood and Dayton only have one conference loss. Villa has two (1 loss to Dayton, 1 loss to Beechwood) If Villa beats Beechwood next week it gets real interesting. You could have a three way tie for first place in the conference if Villa can beat Beechwood and Beechwood beats Dayton. Now if Villa loses to Beechwood that gives them three conference losses and essentially out of the race. Assuming both teams win out, If Beechwood beats Dayton at Dayton they would be the Champions outright And if Dayton beats Beechwood they win the title. I think thats right!

I made the point last year that playing on a college court in an arena helps prepare your region teams for Rupp arena. (and look what the Bulldogs did!) The sight lines, court size, and arena make a big difference in preparing your team for Rupp. Now obviously the atmosphere is quite different than the state tournament but you get my point! I do like a packed house in a High School gym but I wish we would see more of that in the regular season. It just makes more sense to have it at the BOKC. Looking forward to it!

There are no excuses for this type of point margin. None. Just shameful, I coach and would never ever ever consider this type of victory an admirable victory. I think we all know of teams that we could pound into the ground but you do not get better by doing that. Find things to work on with your team that do not involve running the floor. Just a shame.

It's all in who you have played at home. That is a tough schedule for games at home. I wouldn't get too worried about that.

I was not aware that they didn't play each other. I guess since they don't seed there really is no need to play each district opponent in the regular season.

What would be the seeds if this tournament was seeded? Anyone know?
